וּלְיֹשְׁבֵ֣י

of Jerusalem

יְרֽוּשָׁלִָ֑ם

לְחַטַּ֖את

and for uncleanness

וּלְנִדָּֽה׃

 

וְהָיָה֩

And it shall come to pass in that day

בַיּ֨וֹם

 

הַה֜וּא

saith

נְאֻ֣ם׀

the LORD

יְהוָ֣ה

of hosts

צְבָא֗וֹת

that I will cut off

אַכְרִ֞ית

 

אֶת

the names

שְׁמ֤וֹת

of the idols

הָֽעֲצַבִּים֙

 

מִן

out of the land

הָאָֽרֶץ׃

 

וְלֹ֥א

and they shall no more be remembered

יִזָּכְר֖וּ

 

ע֑וֹד

 

וְגַ֧ם

 

אֶת

and also I will cause the prophets

הַנְּבִיאִ֛ים

 

וְאֶת

spirit

ר֥וּחַ

and the unclean

הַטֻּמְאָ֖ה

to pass

אַעֲבִ֥יר

 

מִן

out of the land

הָאָֽרֶץ׃

 

וְהָיָ֗ה

 

כִּֽי

him through when he prophesieth

בְּהִנָּבְאֽוֹ׃

And it shall come to pass that when any

אִישׁ֮

 

עוֹד֒

him shall say

וְאָמְר֣וּ

 

אֵ֠לָיו

and his father

אָבִ֧יהוּ

and his mother

וְאִמּ֛וֹ

that begat

יֹלְדָ֖יו

 

לֹ֣א

unto him Thou shalt not live

תִֽחְיֶ֔ה

 

כִּ֛י

lies

שֶׁ֥קֶר

for thou speakest

דִּבַּ֖רְתָּ

in the name

בְּשֵׁ֣ם

of the LORD

יְהוָ֑ה

him shall thrust

וּדְקָרֻ֜הוּ

and his father

אָבִ֧יהוּ

and his mother

וְאִמּ֛וֹ

that begat

יֹלְדָ֖יו

him through when he prophesieth

בְּהִנָּבְאֽוֹ׃

 

וְהָיָ֣ה׀

And it shall come to pass in that day

בַּיּ֣וֹם

 

הַה֗וּא

shall be ashamed

יֵבֹ֧שׁוּ

that the prophets

הַנְּבִיאִ֛ים

every one

אִ֥ישׁ

of his vision

מֵחֶזְיֹנ֖וֹ

when he hath prophesied

בְּהִנָּֽבְאֹת֑וֹ

 

וְלֹ֧א

neither shall they wear

יִלְבְּשׁ֛וּ

garment

אַדֶּ֥רֶת

a rough

שֵׂעָ֖ר

 

לְמַ֥עַן

to deceive

כַּחֵֽשׁ׃

But he shall say

וְאָמַ֕ר

 

לֹ֥א

I am no prophet

נָבִ֖יא

 

אָנֹ֑כִי

I am an husbandman

אִישׁ

 

עֹבֵ֤ד

 

אֲדָמָה֙

 

אָנֹ֔כִי

 

כִּ֥י

for man

אָדָ֖ם

taught me to keep cattle

הִקְנַ֥נִי

from my youth

מִנְּעוּרָֽי׃

And one shall say

וְאָמַ֕ר

 

אֵלָ֔יו

 

מָ֧ה

unto him What are these wounds

הַמַּכּ֛וֹת

 

הָאֵ֖לֶּה

 

בֵּ֣ין

in thine hands

יָדֶ֑יךָ

And one shall say

וְאָמַ֕ר

 

אֲשֶׁ֥ר

Those with which I was wounded

הֻכֵּ֖יתִי

in the house

בֵּ֥ית

of my friends

מְאַהֲבָֽי׃

O sword

חֶ֗רֶב

Awake

עוּרִ֤י

 

עַל

against my shepherd

הָֽרֹעֶה֙

 

וְעַל

and against the man

גֶּ֣בֶר

that is my fellow

עֲמִיתִ֔י

saith

נְאֻ֖ם

the LORD

יְהוָ֣ה

of hosts

צְבָא֑וֹת

smite

הַ֤ךְ

 

אֶת

against my shepherd

הָֽרֹעֶה֙

shall be scattered

וּתְפוּצֶ֣יןָ

and the sheep

הַצֹּ֔אן

and I will turn

וַהֲשִׁבֹתִ֥י

mine hand

יָדִ֖י

 

עַל

upon the little ones

הַצֹּעֲרִֽים׃

 

וְהָיָ֤ה

 

בְכָל

And it shall come to pass that in all the land

הָאָ֙רֶץ֙

saith

נְאֻם

the LORD

יְהוָ֔ה

parts

פִּֽי

two

שְׁנַ֣יִם

 

בָּ֔הּ

therein shall be cut off

יִכָּרְת֖וּ

and die

יִגְוָ֑עוּ

but the third

וְהַשְּׁלִשִׁ֖ית

shall be left

יִוָּ֥תֶר

 

בָּֽהּ׃

And I will bring

וְהֵבֵאתִ֤י

 

אֶת

the third part

הַשְּׁלִשִׁית֙

through the fire

בָּאֵ֔שׁ

and will refine

כִּצְרֹ֣ף

and will refine

כִּצְרֹ֣ף

them as silver

הַכֶּ֔סֶף

and will try

כִּבְחֹ֣ן

כִּבְחֹ֣ן

them as gold

הַזָּהָ֑ב

 

ה֣וּא׀

they shall call

יִקְרָ֣א

on my name

בִשְׁמִ֗י

 

וַֽאֲנִי֙

and I will hear

אֶעֱנֶ֣ה

 

אֹת֔וֹ

and they shall say

יֹאמַ֖ר

It is my people

עַמִּ֣י

 

ה֔וּא

 

וְה֥וּא

and they shall say

יֹאמַ֖ר

The LORD

יְהוָ֥ה

is my God

אֱלֹהָֽי׃
