Then he turned

וַיַּסֵּ֥ב

his face

הַקִּ֑יר

and prayed

וַיִּ֨תְפַּלֵּ֔ל

 

אֶל

unto the LORD

יְהוָ֖ה

saying

לֵאמֹֽר׃

I beseech

אָנָּ֣ה

thee O LORD

יְהוָ֗ה

remember

זְכָר

 

נָ֞א

 

אֵ֣ת

 

אֲשֶׁ֧ר

now how I have walked

הִתְהַלַּ֣כְתִּי

before

לְפָנֶ֗יךָ

thee in truth

בֶּֽאֱמֶת֙

heart

וּבְלֵבָ֣ב

and with a perfect

שָׁלֵ֔ם

that which is good

וְהַטּ֥וֹב

in thy sight

בְּעֵינֶ֖יךָ

and have done

עָשִׂ֑יתִי

wept

וַיֵּ֥בְךְּ

And Hezekiah

חִזְקִיָּ֖הוּ

 

בְּכִ֥י

sore

גָדֽוֹל׃

 

וַיְהִ֣י

And it came to pass afore Isaiah

יְשַֽׁעְיָ֔הוּ

 

לֹ֣א

was gone out

יָצָ֔א

court

הָצֵ֖יר

into the middle

הַתִּֽיכֹנָ֑ה

that the word

וּדְבַר

of the LORD

יְהוָ֔ה

 

הָיָ֥ה

 

אֵלָ֖יו

came to him saying

לֵאמֹֽר׃

Turn again

Hezekiah

חִזְקִיָּ֣הוּ

the captain

נְגִיד

of my people

עַמִּ֗י

of the LORD

יְהוָֽה׃

אֱלֹהֵי֙

of David

דָּוִ֣ד

thy father

אָבִ֔יךָ

I have heard

שָׁמַ֙עְתִּי֙

thy prayer

תְּפִלָּתֶ֔ךָ

I have seen

רָאִ֖יתִי

 

אֶת

thy tears

דִּמְעָתֶ֑ךָ

 

הִנְנִי֙

behold I will heal

רֹ֣פֶא

 

לָ֔ךְ

day

בַּיּוֹם֙

thee on the third

הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֔י

thou shalt go up

תַּֽעֲלֶ֖ה

unto the house

בֵּ֥ית

of the LORD

יְהוָֽה׃

And I will add

וְהֹֽסַפְתִּ֣י

 

עַל

unto thy days

יָמֶ֗יךָ

חֲמֵ֤שׁ

שָׁנָ֔ה

out of the hand

וּמִכַּ֤ף

of the king

מֶֽלֶךְ

of Assyria

אַשּׁוּר֙

and I will deliver

אַצִּ֣ילְךָ֔

 

וְאֵ֖ת

thee and this city

הָעִ֣יר

 

הַזֹּ֑את

and I will defend

וְגַנּוֹתִי֙

 

עַל

thee and this city

הָעִ֣יר

 

הַזֹּ֔את

 

לְמַֽעֲנִ֔י

 

וּלְמַ֖עַן

And they took

וַיִּקְח֛וּ

a lump

דְּבֶ֣לֶת

of figs

תְּאֵנִ֑ים

And they took

וַיִּקְח֛וּ

and laid

וַיָּשִׂ֥ימוּ

 

עַֽל

it on the boil

הַשְּׁחִ֖ין

and he recovered

וַיֶּֽחִי׃

said

וַיֹּ֤אמֶר

And Hezekiah

חִזְקִיָּ֙הוּ֙

 

אֶֽל

unto Isaiah

יְשַׁעְיָ֔הוּ

 

מָ֣ה

What shall be the sign

א֔וֹת

 

כִּֽי

will heal

יִרְפָּ֥א

of the LORD

יְהוָֽה׃

 

לִ֑י

me and that I shall go up

וְעָלִ֛יתִי

day

בַּיּ֥וֹם

the third

הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֖י

into the house

בֵּ֥ית

of the LORD

יְהוָֽה׃

הָאֵ֗לֶּה

and from whence

וּמֵאַ֙יִן֙

Then came

בָּ֖אוּ

 

אֵלֶ֔יךָ

and said

חִזְקִיָּ֔הוּ

And Hezekiah

הִרְאִיתִ֖ם

Behold the days

הַיּ֥וֹם

come

בָּאִים֒

shall be carried

וְנִשָּׂ֣א׀

 

כָּל

 

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

that all that is in thine house

בְּבֵיתֶ֗ךָ

 

וַֽאֲשֶׁ֨ר

have laid up in store

אָֽצְר֧וּ

and that which thy fathers

אֲבֹתֶ֛יךָ

 

עַד

Behold the days

הַיּ֥וֹם

 

הַזֶּ֖ה

into Babylon

בָּבֶ֑לָה

 

לֹֽא

shall be left

יִוָּתֵ֥ר

nothing

דָּבָ֖ר

the LORD

יְהוָֽה׃

And of thy sons

וּמִבָּנֶ֜יךָ

 

אֲשֶׁ֨ר

that shall issue

יֵֽצְא֧וּ

 

מִמְּךָ֛

from thee which thou shalt beget

תּוֹלִ֖יד

shall they take away

יִקָּ֑חּ

 

וְהָיוּ֙

and they shall be eunuchs

סָֽרִיסִ֔ים

in the palace

בְּהֵיכַ֖ל

of the king

מֶ֥לֶךְ

of Babylon

בָּבֶֽל׃

And he said

Hezekiah

חִזְקִיָּ֙הוּ֙

unto Isaiah

Good

is the word

דְּבַר

of the LORD

יְהוָ֖ה

 

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

which thou hast spoken

דִּבַּ֑רְתָּ

And he said

וַיֹּ֕אמֶר

 

הֲל֛וֹא

 

אִם

Is it not good if peace

שָׁל֥וֹם

and truth

וֶֽאֱמֶ֖ת

 

יִֽהְיֶ֥ה

be in my days

בְיָמָֽי׃
