In the morning

בַּבֹּ֙קֶר֙

sow

זְרַ֣ע

thy seed

זַרְעֶ֔ךָ

and in the evening

וְלָעֶ֖רֶב

תַּנַּ֣ח

not thine hand

יָדֶ֑ךָ

שְׁנֵיהֶ֥ם

כְּאֶחָ֖ד

טוֹבִֽים׃

Truly the light

הָא֑וֹר

and a pleasant

וְט֥וֹב

thing it is for the eyes

לַֽעֵינַ֖יִם

to behold

לִרְא֥וֹת

the sun

הַשָּֽׁמֶשׁ׃

years

שָׁנִ֥ים

for they shall be many

הַרְבֵּ֥ה

live

יִחְיֶ֥ה

בְּכֻלָּ֣ם

and rejoice

יִשְׂמָ֑ח

in them all yet let him remember

וְיִזְכֹּר֙

of darkness

הַחֹ֔שֶׁךְ

for they shall be many

הַרְבֵּ֥ה

 

יִהְי֖וּ

All that cometh

שֶׁבָּ֥א

is vanity

הָֽבֶל׃

Rejoice

שְׂמַ֧ח

O young man

בָּח֣וּר

in thy youth

בְּיַלְדוּתֶ֗יךָ

 

וִֽיטִֽיבְךָ֤

and let thy heart

לִבְּךָ֔

thee in the days

בִּימֵ֣י

of thy youth

בְחוּרוֹתֶ֔יךָ

and walk

וְהַלֵּךְ֙

in the ways

בְּדַרְכֵ֣י

and let thy heart

לִבְּךָ֔

and in the sight

וּבְמַרְאֵ֖י

of thine eyes

עֵינֶ֑יךָ

but know

וְדָ֕ע

 

כִּ֧י

 

עַל

 

כָּל

 

אֵ֛לֶּה

will bring

יְבִֽיאֲךָ֥

thou that for all these things God

הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים

thee into judgment

בַּמִּשְׁפָּֽט׃

Therefore remove

וְהָסֵ֥ר

sorrow

כַּ֙עַס֙

from thy heart

מִלִּבֶּ֔ךָ

and put away

וְהַעֲבֵ֥ר

evil

רָעָ֖ה

from thy flesh

מִבְּשָׂרֶ֑ךָ

 

כִּֽי

for childhood

הַיַּלְד֥וּת

and youth

וְהַֽשַּׁחֲר֖וּת

are vanity

הָֽבֶל׃
