In the day

בַּיּ֗וֹם

shall tremble

שֶׁיָּזֻ֙עוּ֙

when the keepers

שֹׁמְרֵ֣י

of the house

הַבַּ֔יִת

shall bow

וְהִֽתְעַוְּת֖וּ

 

אַנְשֵׁ֣י

and the strong

הֶחָ֑יִל

cease

וּבָטְל֤וּ

themselves and the grinders

הַטֹּֽחֲנוֹת֙

 

כִּ֣י

because they are few

מִעֵ֔טוּ

be darkened

וְחָשְׁכ֥וּ

and those that look out

הָרֹא֖וֹת

of the windows

בָּאֲרֻבּֽוֹת׃

shall be shut

וְסֻגְּר֤וּ

And the doors

דְלָתַ֙יִם֙

in the streets

בַּשּׁ֔וּק

is low

בִּשְׁפַ֖ל

at the voice

לְק֣וֹל

of the grinding

הַֽטַּחֲנָ֑ה

and he shall rise up

וְיָקוּם֙

at the voice

לְק֣וֹל

of the bird

הַצִּפּ֔וֹר

shall be brought low

וְיִשַּׁ֖חוּ

 

כָּל

and all the daughters

בְּנ֥וֹת

of musick

הַשִּֽׁיר׃

 

גַּ֣ם

of that which is high

מִגָּבֹ֤הַּ

Also when they shall be afraid

יִרָ֙אוּ֙

and fears

וְחַתְחַתִּ֣ים

shall be in the way

בַּדֶּ֔רֶךְ

shall flourish

וְיָנֵ֤אץ

and the almond tree

הַשָּׁקֵד֙

shall be a burden

וְיִסְתַּבֵּ֣ל

and the grasshopper

הֶֽחָגָ֔ב

shall fail

וְתָפֵ֖ר

and desire

הָֽאֲבִיּוֹנָ֑ה

נִתְּנ֖וּ

my son

בְּנִ֣י

be admonished

הִזָּהֵ֑ר

of making

עֲשׂ֨וֹת

סְפָרִ֤ים

and much

הַרְבֵּ֖ה

there is no end

קֵ֔ץ

study

וְלַ֥הַג

and much

הַרְבֵּ֖ה

is a weariness

יְגִעַ֥ת

of the flesh

בָּשָֽׂר׃

the conclusion

Let us hear
