Thou shalt speak

יְדַבֵּ֣ר

all that I command

אֲצַוֶּ֑ךָּ

thee and Aaron

וְאַֽהֲרֹ֤ן

thy brother

אָחִ֙יךָ֙

Thou shalt speak

יְדַבֵּ֣ר

 

אֶל

unto Pharaoh

פַּרְעֹ֔ה

that he send

וְשִׁלַּ֥ח

 

אֶת

the children

בְּנֵֽי

of Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל

out of his land

מֵֽאַרְצֽוֹ׃

 

וַֽאֲנִ֥י

And I will harden

אַקְשֶׁ֖ה

 

אֶת

heart

לֵ֣ב

Pharaoh's

פַּרְעֹ֑ה

and multiply

וְהִרְבֵּיתִ֧י

 

אֶת

my signs

אֹֽתֹתַ֛י

 

וְאֶת

and my wonders

מֽוֹפְתַ֖י

in the land

בְּאֶ֥רֶץ

of Egypt

מִצְרָֽיִם׃

 

וְלֹֽא

shall not hearken

יִשְׁמַ֤ע

 

אֲלֵכֶם֙

But Pharaoh

פַּרְעֹ֔ה

unto you that I may lay

וְנָֽתַתִּ֥י

 

אֶת

my hand

יָדִ֖י

of Egypt

מִצְרַ֔יִם

and bring forth

וְהֽוֹצֵאתִ֨י

 

אֶת

mine armies

צִבְאֹתַ֜י

 

אֶת

and my people

עַמִּ֤י

the children

בְנֵֽי

of Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵל֙

out of the land

מֵאֶ֣רֶץ

of Egypt

מִצְרַ֔יִם

בִּשְׁפָטִ֖ים

וְיָֽדְע֤וּ

And the Egyptians

when I stretch forth

for you then thou shalt say

וְאָֽמַרְתָּ֣

a miracle

מוֹפֵ֑ת

for you then thou shalt say

Take

מַטְּךָ֛

וְהַשְׁלֵ֥ךְ

לִפְנֵֽי

Pharaoh

יְהִ֥י

and it shall become a serpent

לְתַנִּֽין׃

וַיַּ֣עַשׂוּ

and they became serpents

thou wouldest not hear

שָׁמַ֖עְתָּ

 

עַד

and behold hitherto

כֹּֽה׃

 

כֹּ֚ה

Thus saith

אָמַ֣ר

that I am the LORD

יְהוָ֑ה

 

בְּזֹ֣את

In this thou shalt know

תֵּדַ֔ע

 

כִּ֖י

 

אֲנִ֣י

that I am the LORD

יְהוָ֑ה

 

הִנֵּ֨ה

 

אָֽנֹכִ֜י

behold I will smite

מַכֶּ֣ה׀

with the rod

בַּמַּטֶּ֣ה

 

אֲשֶׁר

that is in mine hand

בְּיָדִ֗י

 

עַל

upon the waters

הַמַּ֛יִם

 

אֲשֶׁ֥ר

which are in the river

בַּיְאֹ֖ר

and they shall be turned

וְנֶֽהֶפְכ֥וּ

to blood

לְדָֽם׃

And the fish

וְהַדָּגָ֧ה

 

אֲשֶׁר

and the river

הַיְאֹֽר׃

shall die

תָּמ֖וּת

shall stink

וּבָאַ֣שׁ

And Moses

כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֣ר׀

commanded

צִוָּ֣ה

so as the LORD

יְהוָ֗ה

and he lifted up

וַיָּ֤רֶם

the rod

בַּמַּטֶּה֙

and smote

וַיַּ֤ךְ

 

אֶת

and all the waters

הַמַּ֥יִם

 

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

that were in the river

בַּיְאֹ֖ר

and in the sight

וּלְעֵינֵ֖י

of Pharaoh

פַרְעֹ֔ה

and in the sight

of his servants

עֲבָדָ֑יו

were turned

וַיֵּהָֽפְכ֛וּ

יָֽכְלוּ֙
