and the curtains

אֶ֥רֶץ

of Midian

מִדְיָֽן׃

against the rivers

בַּנְּהָרִים֙

displeased

חָרָ֣ה

Was the LORD

Thy bow

קַשְׁתֶּ֔ךָ

שְׁבֻע֥וֹת

of the tribes

מַטּ֖וֹת

even thy word

with rivers

Thou didst cleave

תְּבַקַּע

the earth

אָֽרֶץ׃

saw

רָא֤וּךָ

thee and they trembled

יָחִ֙ילוּ֙

הָרִ֔ים

the overflowing

זֶ֥רֶם

of the water

מַ֖יִם

passed by

עָבָ֑ר

uttered

נָתַ֤ן

the deep

his voice

The sun

and moon

in their habitation

חִצֶּ֙יךָ֙

the land

in anger

even for salvation

of thy people

with his staves

לַהֲפִיצֵ֑נִי

me their rejoicing

עֲלִ֣יצֻתָ֔ם

the poor

עָנִ֖י

secretly

בַּמִּסְתָּֽר׃

Thou didst walk

דָּרַ֥כְתָּ

through the sea

בַיָּ֖ם

with thine horses

סוּסֶ֑יךָ

through the heap

חֹ֖מֶר

waters

מַ֥יִם

of great

רַבִּֽים׃

When I heard

שָׁמַ֣עְתִּי׀

and I trembled

אֶרְגָּ֑ז

my belly

בִּטְנִ֗י

at the voice

לְקוֹל֙

quivered

צָלֲל֣וּ

my lips

שְׂפָתַ֔י

entered

יָב֥וֹא

rottenness

רָקָ֛ב

into my bones

בַּעֲצָמַ֖י

 

וְתַחְתַּ֣י

and I trembled

אֶרְגָּ֑ז

 

אֲשֶׁ֤ר

in myself that I might rest

אָנ֙וּחַ֙

in the day

לְי֣וֹם

of trouble

צָרָ֔ה

when he cometh up

לַעֲל֖וֹת

unto the people

לְעַ֥ם

he will invade them with his troops

יְגוּדֶֽנּוּ׃

Although the fig tree

תְאֵנָ֣ה

 

לֹֽא

shall not blossom

תִפְרָ֗ח

 

וְאֵ֤ין

neither shall fruit

יְבוּל֙

be in the vines

בַּגְּפָנִ֔ים

shall fail

כִּחֵשׁ֙

the labour

מַעֲשֵׂה

of the olive

זַ֔יִת

and the fields

וּשְׁדֵמ֖וֹת

 

לֹא

shall yield

עָ֣שָׂה

no meat

אֹ֑כֶל

shall be cut off

גָּזַ֤ר

from the fold

מִמִּכְלָה֙

the flock

צֹ֔אן

 

וְאֵ֥ין

and there shall be no herd

בָּקָ֖ר

in the stalls

בָּרְפָתִֽים׃

 

וַאֲנִ֖י

in the LORD

בַּיהוָ֣ה

Yet I will rejoice

אֶעְל֑וֹזָה

I will joy

אָגִ֖ילָה

in the God

בֵּאלֹהֵ֥י

of my salvation

יִשְׁעִֽי׃

 

יְהוִ֤ה

God

אֲדֹנָי֙

is my strength

חֵילִ֔י

and he will make

וַיָּ֤שֶׂם

my feet

רַגְלַי֙

like hinds

כָּֽאַיָּל֔וֹת

 

וְעַ֥ל

upon mine high places

בָּמוֹתַ֖י

feet and he will make me to walk

יַדְרִכֵ֑נִי

on my stringed instruments

בִּנְגִינוֹתָֽי׃

 

יְהוִ֤ה

God

אֲדֹנָי֙
