בְּגוֹרַ֖ל

was their inheritance

נַֽחֲלָתָ֑ם

 

כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֨ר

commanded

צִוָּ֤ה

as the LORD

יְהוָה֙

by the hand

בְּיַד

of Moses

מֹשֶׁ֔ה

for the nine

לְתִשְׁעַ֥ת

tribe

הַמַּטֶּֽה׃

and for the half

וַֽחֲצִ֥י

tribe

הַמַּטֶּֽה׃

 

כִּֽי

had given

נָתַ֥ן

For Moses

מֹשֶׁ֜ה

none inheritance

נַֽחֲלָ֖ה

of two

שְׁנֵ֤י

tribe

הַמַּטֶּ֔ה

and an half

וַֽחֲצִ֣י

tribe

הַמַּטֶּ֔ה

on the other side

מֵעֵ֖בֶר

Jordan

לַיַּרְדֵּ֑ן

but unto the Levites

וְלַ֨לְוִיִּ֔ם

 

לֹֽא

had given

none inheritance

נַֽחֲלָ֖ה

בְּתוֹכָֽם׃

For the children

בְנֵֽי

of Joseph

tribes

מַטּ֖וֹת

Manasseh

מְנַשֶּׁ֣ה

and Ephraim

וְאֶפְרָ֑יִם

 

וְלֹֽא

therefore they gave

נָתְנוּ֩

no part

חֵ֨לֶק

unto the Levites

לַלְוִיִּ֜ם

in the land

בָּאָ֗רֶץ

 

כִּ֤י

 

אִם

save cities

עָרִים֙

to dwell

לָשֶׁ֔בֶת

in with their suburbs

וּמִ֨גְרְשֵׁיהֶ֔ם

for their cattle

לְמִקְנֵיהֶ֖ם

and for their substance

וּלְקִנְיָנָֽם׃

 

כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֨ר

commanded

צִוָּ֤ה

As the LORD

יְהוָה֙

 

אֶת

Moses

מֹשֶׁ֔ה

 

כֵּ֥ן

עָשׂ֖וּ

so the children

בְּנֵ֣י

of Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל

and they divided

וַֽיַּחְלְק֖וּ

 

אֶת

the land

הָאָֽרֶץ׃

וַיִּגְּשׁ֨וּ

Then the children

בֶּן

of Judah

יְהוּדָ֤ה

 

אֶל

unto Joshua

יְהוֹשֻׁ֙עַ֙

in Gilgal

בַּגִּלְגָּ֔ל

said

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר

 

אֵלָ֔יו

and Caleb

יְפֻנֶּ֖ה

הַקְּנִזִּ֑י

Surely the land

הָאָ֙רֶץ֙

 

אֲשֶׁ֨ר

have trodden

whereon thy feet

רַגְלְךָ֙

 

בָּ֔הּ

 

לְךָ֙

 

תִֽהְיֶ֧ה

shall be thine inheritance

לְנַֽחֲלָ֛ה

and thy children's

וּלְבָנֶ֖יךָ

for

עַד

ever

עוֹלָ֑ם

 

כִּ֣י

because thou hast wholly

מִלֵּ֔אתָ

followed

אַֽחֲרֵ֖י

the LORD

יְהוָ֥ה

my God

אֱלֹהָֽי׃

 

וְעַתָּ֗ה

 

הִנֵּה֩

hath kept me alive

הֶֽחֱיָ֨ה

And now behold the LORD

יְהוָ֜ה

כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֣ר

as he said

while the children of Israel

in the wilderness

בַּמִּדְבָּ֑ר

 

וְעַתָּה֙

 

הִנֵּ֣ה

and now lo I am this day

הַיּ֔וֹם

בֶּן

and five

חָמֵ֥שׁ

fourscore

וּשְׁמֹנִ֖ים

as I was in the day

As yet I am as strong
