is upon them that fear

יְרֵאָ֑יו

him upon them that hope

לַֽמְיַחֲלִ֥ים

in his mercy

לְחַסְדּֽוֹ׃

To deliver

לְהַצִּ֣יל

from death

מִמָּ֣וֶת

their soul

נַפְשָׁ֑ם

and to keep them alive

וּ֝לְחַיּוֹתָ֗ם

in famine

בָּרָעָֽב׃

Our soul

נַ֭פְשֵׁנוּ

waiteth

חִכְּתָ֣ה

for the LORD

לַֽיהוָ֑ה

he is our help

עֶזְרֵ֖נוּ

and our shield

וּמָגִנֵּ֣נוּ

 

הֽוּא׃

shall rejoice

יִשְׂמַ֣ח

For our heart

in his holy
