וְעַתָּ֗ה

הֲלֹ֥א
And now is not Boaz
בֹ֙עַז֙
of our kindred
מֹֽדַעְתָּ֔נוּ

אֲשֶׁ֥ר

הָיִ֖ית

אֶת
with whose maidens
נַֽעֲרוֹתָ֑יו

הִנֵּה

Wash
וְרָחַ֣צְתְּ׀
thyself therefore and anoint
וָסַ֗כְתְּ
thee and put
וְשַׂ֧מְתְּ
thy raiment
שִׂמְלֹתַ֛יִךְ

עָלַ֖יִךְ
upon thee and get thee down
וְיָרַ֣דְתְּי
to the floor
הַגֹּ֑רֶן

but make not thyself known
תִּוָּֽדְעִ֣י
unto the man

until he shall have done

וִיהִ֣י

וְשָׁכָ֑בְתְּי
that thou shalt mark
וְיָדַ֙עַתְּ֙

and he will tell

And she said
תֹּֽאמְרִ֥י

אֵלֶ֑יהָ

כֹּ֛ל

אֲשֶׁר
And she said
תֹּֽאמְרִ֥י
unto me I will do
אֶֽעֱשֶֽׂה׃
6
And she went down
וַתֵּ֖רֶד
unto the floor
הַגֹּ֑רֶן
and did
וַתַּ֕עַשׂ

כְּכֹ֥ל

אֲשֶׁר
bade
צִוַּ֖תָּה
according to all that her mother in law

had eaten
וַיֹּ֨אכַל
And when Boaz
בֹּ֤עַז

was merry

לִבּ֔וֹ
and she came
וַתָּבֹ֣א
and laid her down
וַתִּשְׁכָּֽב׃
at the end
בִּקְצֵ֣ה
of the heap of corn
הָֽעֲרֵמָ֑ה
and she came
וַתָּבֹ֣א
softly
בַלָּ֔ט
and uncovered
וַתְּגַ֥ל
his feet
מַרְגְּלֹתָ֖יו
and laid her down
וַתִּשְׁכָּֽב׃
8

וַֽיְהִי֙
And it came to pass at midnight
בַּֽחֲצִ֣י

וַיִּלָּפֵ֑ת

וְהִנֵּ֣ה
himself and behold a woman
אִשָּׁ֔ה
lay
שֹׁכֶ֖בֶת
at his feet

And he said
וַתֹּ֗אמֶר

And he said
וַיֹּ֗אמֶר
