and behold a flying

עָפָֽה׃

And he said

וָאֹמַ֗ר

I see

And he said

אֲנִ֤י

I see

רֹאֶה֙

roll

מְגִלָּ֣ה

a flying

עָפָ֔ה

the length

אָרְכָּהּ֙

thereof is twenty

עֶשְׂרִ֣ים

cubits

בָּאַמָּֽה׃

and the breadth

וְרָחְבָּ֖הּ

thereof ten

עֶ֥שֶׂר

cubits

בָּאַמָּֽה׃

Then said

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר

 

אֵלַ֔י

 

זֹ֚את

he unto me This is the curse

הָֽאָלָ֔ה

that goeth forth

הַיּוֹצֵ֖את

 

עַל

over the face

פְּנֵ֣י

 

כָל

of the whole earth

הָאָ֑רֶץ

 

כִּ֣י

 

כָל

for every one that stealeth

הַגֹּנֵ֗ב

 

מִזֶּה֙

as on that side according

כָּמ֥וֹהָ

shall be cut off

נִקָּֽה׃

 

וְכָל

to it and every one that sweareth

הַ֨נִּשְׁבָּ֔ע

 

מִזֶּ֖ה

as on that side according

כָּמ֥וֹהָ

shall be cut off

נִקָּֽה׃

I will bring it forth

הוֹצֵאתִ֗יהָ

saith

נְאֻם֙

the LORD

יְהוָ֣ה

of hosts

צְבָא֔וֹת

and it shall enter

וּבָ֙אָה֙

 

אֶל

and into the house

בֵּית֔וֹ

of the thief

הַגַּנָּ֔ב

 

וְאֶל

and into the house

בֵּית֔וֹ

of him that sweareth

הַנִּשְׁבָּ֥ע

by my name

בִּשְׁמִ֖י

falsely

לַשָּׁ֑קֶר

and it shall remain

וְלָ֙נֶה֙

in the midst

בְּת֣וֹךְ

and into the house

בֵּית֔וֹ

and shall consume

וְכִלַּ֖תּוּ

 

וְאֶת

it with the timber

עֵצָ֥יו

 

וְאֶת

thereof and the stones

אֲבָנָֽיו׃

what is this that goeth forth

הַיּוֹצֵ֥את

Then the angel

הַמַּלְאָ֖ךְ

that talked

הַדֹּבֵ֣ר

 

בִּ֑י

and said

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר

 

אֵלַ֔י

unto me Lift up

שָׂ֣א

 

נָ֤א

now thine eyes

עֵינֶ֙יךָ֙

and see

וּרְאֵ֔ה

 

מָ֖ה

what is this that goeth forth

הַיּוֹצֵ֥את

 

הַזֹּֽאת׃

And I said

וַיֹּ֕אמֶר

 

מַה

 

הִ֑יא

And I said

וַיֹּ֕אמֶר

 

זֹ֤את

This is an ephah

הָֽאֵיפָה֙

that goeth forth

הַיּוֹצֵ֔את

And I said

וַיֹּ֕אמֶר

 

זֹ֥את

moreover This is their resemblance

עֵינָ֖ם

 

בְּכָל

through all the earth

הָאָֽרֶץ׃

 

וְהִנֵּ֛ה

a talent

כִּכַּ֥ר

of lead

עֹפֶ֖רֶת

And behold there was lifted up

נִשֵּׂ֑את

 

וְזֹאת֙

woman

אִשָּׁ֣ה

and this is a

אַחַ֔ת

that sitteth

יוֹשֶׁ֖בֶת

in the midst

בְּת֥וֹךְ

of the ephah

הָאֵיפָֽה׃

And he said

וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙

 

זֹ֣את

This is wickedness

הָרִשְׁעָ֔ה

And he cast

וַיַּשְׁלֵ֛ךְ

 

אֹתָ֖הּ

 

אֶל

it into the midst

תּ֣וֹךְ

of the ephah

הָֽאֵיפָ֑ה

And he cast

וַיַּשְׁלֵ֛ךְ

 

אֶת

the weight

אֶ֥בֶן

הָֽעוֹפֶ֖רֶת

upon the mouth

פִּֽיהָ׃

Then lifted I up

וַתִּשֶּׂ֙אנָה֙

וְהִנֵּה֩

two

שְׁתַּ֨יִם

women

נָשִׁ֤ים

and behold there came out

יֽוֹצְאוֹת֙

and the wind

וְר֣וּחַ

like the wings

כְּכַנְפֵ֣י

for they had

וְלָהֵ֥נָּה

like the wings

כְּכַנְפֵ֣י

like the wings

כְּכַנְפֵ֣י

of a stork

הַחֲסִידָ֑ה

Then lifted I up

וַתִּשֶּׂ֙אנָה֙

 

אֶת

the ephah

הָ֣אֵיפָ֔ה

 

בֵּ֥ין

between the earth

הָאָ֖רֶץ

 

וּבֵ֥ין

and the heaven

הַשָּׁמָֽיִם׃

Then said

וָאֹמַ֕ר

 

אֶל

I to the angel

הַמַּלְאָ֖ךְ

that talked

הַדֹּבֵ֣ר

 

בִּ֑י

 

אָ֛נָה

 

הֵ֥מָּה

 

מֽוֹלִכ֖וֹת

 

אֶת

the ephah

הָאֵיפָֽה׃

And he said

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר

 

אֵלַ֔י

unto me To build

לִבְנֽוֹת

 

לָ֥הֿ

it an house

בַ֖יִת

in the land

בְּאֶ֣רֶץ

of Shinar

שִׁנְעָ֑ר

and it shall be established

וְהוּכַ֛ן

and set

וְהֻנִּ֥יחָה

 

שָּׁ֖ם

 

עַל

there upon her own base

מְכֻנָתָֽהּ׃
