There is a league

בְּרִֽיתְךָ֗

 

בֵּינִ֣י

 

וּבֵינֶ֔ךָ

and thy father

אָבִ֑יךָ

הִנֵּ֨ה

Then Asa

וְאָסָ֣א

the king

הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ

לָקַח֙

כָּל

all Judah

יְהוּדָ֔ה

and they carried away

וַיִּשְׂא֞וּ

the stones

אַבְנֵ֤י

of Ramah

הָֽרָמָה֙

 

וְאֶת

and the timber

עֵצֶ֔יהָ

 

אֲשֶׁ֥ר

and he built

וַיִּ֣בֶן

thereof wherewith Baasha

בַּעְשָׁ֑א

and he built

וְהַלּוּבִ֗ים

לְחַ֧יִל׀

לָרֹ֛ב

chariots

לְרֶ֥כֶב

and horsemen

וּלְפָֽרָשִׁ֖ים

לְהַרְבֵּ֣ה

מְאֹ֑ד

yet because thou didst rely

וּבְהִשָּֽׁעֶנְךָ֥

 

עַל

on the LORD

יְהוָ֖ה

he delivered

נְתָנָ֥ם

them into thine hand

בְּיָדֶֽךָ׃

For the eyes

עֵינָ֞יו

run to and fro

מְשֹֽׁטְט֤וֹת

 

בְּכָל

throughout the whole earth

הָאָ֙רֶץ֙

to shew himself strong

לְ֠הִתְחַזֵּק

 

עִם

in the behalf of them whose heart

לְבָבָ֥ם

is perfect

שָׁלֵ֛ם

And Asa

וָתֵ֤שַׁע

לְמַלְכוּתוֹ֙

in his feet

בְּרַגְלָ֔יו

לְמַ֖עְלָה

great yet in his disease

בְּחָלְיוֹ֙

great yet in his disease

he sought

And Asa

and died

וַיָּ֕מָת

לְמָלְכֽוֹ׃

And they buried

וַיִּקְבְּרֻ֣הוּ

him in his own sepulchres

בְקִבְרֹתָ֗יו

 

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

which he had made

for himself in the city

בְּעִ֣יר

of David

דָּוִיד֒

and laid

וַיַּשְׁכִּיבֻ֗הוּ

him in the bed

בַּמִּשְׁכָּב֙

 

אֲשֶׁ֤ר

which was filled

מִלֵּא֙

with sweet odours

בְּשָׂמִ֣ים

and divers kinds

וּזְנִ֔ים

by the apothecaries

בְּמִרְקַ֣חַת

by the apothecaries

בְּמִרְקַ֣חַת

מַֽעֲשֶׂ֑ה

and they made

וַיִּשְׂרְפוּ
