מִדַּבֵּ֥ר

 

אֵלַ֔י

unto me and set

וַתַּעֲמִדֵ֖נִי

 

עַל

me upon my feet

that I heard

וָאֶשְׁמַ֕ע

 

אֵ֖ת

אֵלָֽי׃

against me they and their fathers

הַזֶּֽה׃

children

וְהַבָּנִ֗ים

For they are impudent

קְשֵׁ֤י

and stiffhearted

I do send

שׁוֹלֵ֥חַ

 

אוֹתְךָ֖

 

אֲלֵיהֶ֑ם

thee unto them and thou shalt say

אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם

 

כֹּ֥ה

thee unto them and thou shalt say

אֲדֹנָ֥י

GOD

יְהוִֹֽה׃

 

וְהֵ֙מָּה֙

 

אִם

And they whether they will hear

יִשְׁמְע֣וּ

 

וְאִם

or whether they will forbear

יֶחְדָּ֔לוּ

 

כִּ֛י

house

בֵּ֥ית

for they are a rebellious

מְרִ֖י

 

הֵ֑מָּה

yet shall know

וְיָ֣דְע֔וּ

 

כִּ֥י

that there hath been a prophet

נָבִ֖יא

 

הָיָ֥ה

among

בְתוֹכָֽם׃

 

וְאַתָּ֣ה

And thou son

אַל

be not afraid

תִּירָא֙

 

מֵהֶ֜ם

of their words

מִדִּבְרֵיהֶ֤ם

 

אַל

כִּ֣י

though briers

סָרָבִ֤ים

and thorns

וְסַלּוֹנִים֙

 

אוֹתָ֔ךְ

 

וְאֶל

among scorpions

עַקְרַבִּ֖ים

 

אַתָּ֣ה

be with thee and thou dost dwell

יוֹשֵׁ֑ב

of their words

מִדִּבְרֵיהֶ֤ם

 

אַל

be not afraid

תִּירָא֙

at their looks

וּמִפְּנֵיהֶ֣ם

 

אַל

nor be dismayed

תֵּחָ֔ת

 

כִּ֛י

house

בֵּ֥ית

though they be a rebellious

הֵֽמָּה׃

And thou shalt speak

וְדִבַּרְתָּ֤

my words

דְּבָרַי֙

 

אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם

unto them whether they will hear

יִשְׁמְע֖וּ

פְּצֵ֣ה

thy mouth

פִ֔יךָ

and eat

וֶאֱכֹ֕ל

 

אֵ֥ת

 

אֲשֶׁר

that I give

נֹתֵ֥ן

 

אֵלֶֽיךָ׃

And when I looked

וָאֶרְאֶ֕ה

 

וְהִנֵּה

behold an hand

יָ֖ד

was sent

שְׁלוּחָ֣ה

 

אֵלָ֑י

 

וְהִנֵּה

 

ב֖וֹ

unto me and lo a roll

מְגִלַּת

of a book

סֵֽפֶר׃

And he spread

וַיִּפְרֹ֤שׂ

 

אוֹתָהּ֙

it before

פָּנִ֣ים

 

וְהִ֥יא

and there was written

וְכָת֣וּב

it before

פָּנִ֣ים

and without

וְאָח֑וֹר

and there was written

וְכָת֣וּב

 

אֵלֶ֔יהָ

therein lamentations

קִנִ֥ים

and mourning

וָהֶ֖גֶה

and woe

וָהִֽי׃
