GOD

יְהוִ֗ה

 

הִנְנִ֤י

 

עָלֶ֙יךָ֙

Behold I am against thee Pharaoh

פַּרְעֹ֣ה

king

מֶֽלֶךְ

of Egypt

מִצְרַ֔יִם

dragon

הַתַּנִּים֙

the great

הַגָּד֔וֹל

that lieth

הָרֹבֵ֖ץ

in the midst

בְּת֣וֹךְ

My river

יְאֹרִ֖י

 

אֲשֶׁ֥ר

Thus saith

אָמַ֛ר

 

לִ֥י

My river

יְאֹרִ֖י

 

וַאֲנִ֥י

is mine own and I have made

עֲשִׂיתִֽנִי׃

But I will put

וְנָתַתִּ֤י

hooks

חַחִיים֙

in thy jaws

בִּלְחָיֶ֔יךָ

shall stick

תִּדְבָּֽק׃

and I will cause the fish

דְּגַ֣ת

of thy rivers

יְאֹרֶ֔יךָ

unto thy scales

בְּקַשְׂקְשֹׂתֶ֖יךָ

and I will bring thee up

וְהַעֲלִיתִ֙יךָ֙

out of the midst

מִתּ֣וֹךְ

of thy rivers

יְאֹרֶ֔יךָ

 

וְאֵת֙

 

כָּל

and I will cause the fish

דְּגַ֣ת

of thy rivers

יְאֹרֶ֔יךָ

unto thy scales

בְּקַשְׂקְשֹׂתֶ֖יךָ

shall stick

תִּדְבָּֽק׃

And I will leave

וּנְטַשְׁתִּ֣יךָ

thee thrown into the wilderness

הַמִּדְבָּ֗רָה

 

אוֹתְךָ֙

 

וְאֵת֙

 

כָּל

thee and all the fish

דְּגַ֣ת

of thy rivers

יְאֹרֶ֔יךָ

 

עַל

upon the open

פְּנֵ֤י

fields

הַשָּׂדֶה֙

thou shalt fall

תִּפּ֔וֹל

 

לֹ֥א

thou shalt not be brought together

תֵאָסֵ֖ף

 

וְלֹ֣א

nor gathered

תִקָּבֵ֑ץ

to the beasts

לְחַיַּ֥ת

of the field

הָאָ֛רֶץ

and to the fowls

וּלְע֥וֹף

of the heaven

הַשָּׁמַ֖יִם

I have given

נְתַתִּ֥יךָ

thee for meat

לְאָכְלָֽה׃

shall know

וְיָֽדְעוּ֙

 

כָּל

And all the inhabitants

יֹשְׁבֵ֣י

of Egypt

מִצְרַ֔יִם

 

כִּ֖י

 

אֲנִ֣י

that I am the LORD

יְהוָ֑ה

 

יַ֧עַן

 

הֱיוֹתָ֛ם

because they have been a staff

מִשְׁעֶ֥נֶת

of reed

קָנֶ֖ה

to the house

לְבֵ֥ית

of Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

When they took hold

בְּתָפְשָׂ֨ם

 

בְּךָ֤

of thee by thy hand

בַכַּפ֙ף

thou didst break

תֵּר֔וֹץ

and rend

וּבָקַעְתָּ֥

 

לָהֶ֖ם

 

כָּל

all their shoulder

כָּתֵ֑ף

and when they leaned

וּבְהִֽשָּׁעֲנָ֤ם

 

עָלֶ֙יךָ֙

upon thee thou brakest

תִּשָּׁבֵ֔ר

to be at a stand

וְהַעֲמַדְתָּ֥

 

לָהֶ֖ם

 

כָּל

and madest all their loins

מָתְנָֽיִם׃

 

לָכֵ֗ן

 

כֹּ֤ה

Therefore thus saith

אָמַר֙

the Lord

אֲדֹנָ֣י

GOD

יְהוִ֔ה

 

הִנְנִ֛י

Behold I will bring

מֵבִ֥יא

 

עָלַ֖יִךְ

a sword

חָ֑רֶב

upon thee and cut off

וְהִכְרַתִּ֥י

 

מִמֵּ֖ךְ

man

אָדָ֥ם

and beast

וּבְהֵמָֽה׃

 

וְהָיְתָ֤ה

And the land

אֶֽרֶץ

of Egypt

מִצְרַ֙יִם֙

shall be desolate

לִשְׁמָמָ֣ה

and waste

וְחָרְבָּ֔ה

and they shall know

וְיָדְע֖וּ

 

כִּֽי

 

אֲנִ֣י

that I am the LORD

יְהוָ֑ה

 

יַ֧עַן

because he hath said

אָמַ֛ר

The river

יְאֹ֥ר

 

לִ֖י

 

וַאֲנִ֥י

is mine and I have made

עָשִֽׂיתִי׃

 

לָכֵ֛ן

 

הִנְנִ֥י

 

אֵלֶ֖יךָ

 

וְאֶל

Behold therefore I am against thee and against thy rivers

יְאֹרֶ֑יךָ

and I will make

וְנָתַתִּ֞י

 

אֶת

the land

אֶ֣רֶץ

of Egypt

מִצְרַ֗יִם

waste

לְחָרְבוֹת֙

utterly

חֹ֣רֶב

and desolate

שְׁמָמָ֔ה

from the tower

מִמִּגְדֹּ֥ל

of Syene

סְוֵנֵ֖ה

 

וְעַד

even unto the border

גְּב֥וּל

of Ethiopia

כּֽוּשׁ׃

 

לֹ֤א

shall pass through

תַעֲבָר

וְרֶ֥גֶל

בְּהֵמָ֖ה

Yet thus saith

אָמַ֖ר

the Lord

אֲדֹנָ֣י

GOD

יְהוִ֑ה

At the end

מִקֵּ֞ץ

of forty

אַרְבָּעִ֤ים

years

שָׁנָה֙

will I gather

אֲקַבֵּ֣ץ

 

אֶת

the Egyptians

מִצְרַ֔יִם

 

מִן

from the people

הָעַמִּ֖ים

 

אֲשֶׁר

whither they were scattered

נָפֹ֥צוּ

 

שָֽׁמָּה׃

And I will bring again

וַהֲשִׁבֹתִ֤י

 

אֶת

the captivity

שְׁב֣וּת

of Egypt

מִצְרַ֔יִם

And I will bring again

וַהֲשִׁבֹתִ֤י

 

אֹתָם֙

into the land

אֶ֖רֶץ

of Pathros

פַּתְר֔וֹס

 

עַל

into the land

אֶ֖רֶץ

of their habitation

מְכֽוּרָתָ֑ם

 

וְהָ֥יוּ

 

שָׁ֖ם

kingdom

מַמְלָכָ֥ה

and they shall be there a base

שְׁפָלָֽה׃

It shall be the basest

וְלֹֽא

neither shall it exalt

תִתְנַשֵּׂ֥א

בַּגּוֹיִֽם׃

for I will diminish

וְהִ֨מְעַטְתִּ֔ים

 

לְבִלְתִּ֖י

them that they shall no more rule

רְד֥וֹת

וְלֹ֣א

 

יִֽהְיֶה

 

עוֹד֩

לְבֵ֨ית

of Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵ֤ל

And it shall be no more the confidence

לְמִבְטָח֙

to remembrance

מַזְכִּ֣יר

their iniquity

עָוֹ֔ן

when they shall look

בִּפְנוֹתָ֖ם

after

אַחֲרֵיהֶ֑ם

them but they shall know

וְיָ֣דְע֔וּ

 

כִּ֥י

 

אֲנִ֖י

that I am the Lord

אֲדֹנָ֥י

and twentieth

And it came to pass in the seven

וָשֶׁ֙בַע֙

נְבוּכַדְרֶאצַּ֣ר

הָעֲבֹדָ֖ה

מֻקְרָ֔ח

and every shoulder

against Tyrus

Therefore thus saith

אָמַר֙

the Lord

אֲדֹנָ֣י

GOD

יְהוִ֔ה

 

הִנְנִ֥י

Behold I will give

נֹתֵ֛ן

unto Nebuchadrezzar

לִנְבוּכַדְרֶאצַּ֥ר

king

מֶֽלֶךְ

of Babylon

בָּבֶ֖ל

 

אֶת

the land

אֶ֣רֶץ

of Egypt

מִצְרָ֑יִם

and he shall take

וְנָשָׂ֨א

her multitude

הֲמֹנָ֜הּ

and take

וְשָׁלַ֤ל

her spoil

שְׁלָלָהּ֙

and take

וּבָזַ֣ז

her prey

בִּזָּ֔הּ

 

וְהָיְתָ֥ה

and it shall be the wages

שָׂכָ֖ר

for his army

לְחֵילֽוֹ׃

for his labour

פְּעֻלָּתוֹ֙

 

אֲשֶׁר

wherewith he served

עָ֣בַד

 

בָּ֔הּ

I have given

נָתַ֥תִּי

 

ל֖וֹ

 

אֶת

him the land

אֶ֣רֶץ

of Egypt

מִצְרָ֑יִם

 

אֲשֶׁר֙

against it because they wrought

עָ֣שׂוּ

 

לִ֔י

for me saith

נְאֻ֖ם

the Lord

GOD

יְהוִֽה׃

In that day

בַּיּ֣וֹם

 

הַה֗וּא

to bud forth

אַצְמִ֤יחַ

the horn

קֶ֙רֶן֙

of the house

לְבֵ֣ית

of Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל

 

וּלְךָ֛

and I will give

אֶתֵּ֥ן

thee the opening

פִּתְחֽוֹן

of the mouth

פֶּ֖ה

in the midst

בְּתוֹכָ֑ם

of them and they shall know

וְיָדְע֖וּ

 

כִּי

 

אֲנִ֥י

that I am the LORD

יְהוָֽה׃
