and in that time

when I shall bring again

and Jerusalem

of Jehoshaphat

and will plead

וְנִשְׁפַּטְתִּ֨י

 

עִמָּ֜ם

 

שָׁ֗ם

 

עַל

with them there for my people

עַמִּ֨י

and for my heritage

וְנַחֲלָתִ֤י

Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵל֙

 

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

whom they have scattered

פִּזְּר֣וּ

all nations

בַגּוֹיִ֔ם

 

וְאֶת

my land

אַרְצִ֖י

and parted

חִלֵּֽקוּ׃

 

וְאֶל

for my people

עַמִּ֖י

And they have cast

יַדּ֣וּ

lots

גוֹרָ֑ל

and have given

וַיִּתְּנ֤וּ

a boy

הַיֶּ֙לֶד֙

for an harlot

בַּזּוֹנָ֔ה

a girl

וְהַיַּלְדָּ֛ה

and sold

מָכְר֥וּ

for wine

בַיַּ֖יִן

that they might drink

וַיִּשְׁתּֽוּ׃

 

וְ֠גַם

 

מָה

 

אַתֶּ֥ם

 

לִי֙

Yea and what have ye to do with me O Tyre

צֹ֣ר

and Zidon

וְצִיד֔וֹן

 

וְכֹ֖ל

and all the coasts

גְּלִיל֣וֹת

of Palestine

פְּלָ֑שֶׁת

me a recompence

גְּמֻלְכֶ֖ם

 

אַתֶּם֙

will ye render

מְשַׁלְּמִ֣ים

 

עָלָ֔י

 

וְאִם

and if ye recompense

גֹּמְלִ֤ים

 

אַתֶּם֙

 

עָלַ֔י

me swiftly

קַ֣ל

and speedily

מְהֵרָ֔ה

will I return

אָשִׁ֥יב

me a recompence

גְּמֻלְכֶ֖ם

upon your own head

בְּרֹאשְׁכֶֽם׃

 

אֲשֶׁר

my silver

כַּסְפִּ֥י

and my gold

וּזְהָבִ֖י

Because ye have taken

לְקַחְתֶּ֑ם

pleasant things

וּמַֽחֲמַדַּי֙

my goodly

הַטֹּבִ֔ים

and have carried

הֲבֵאתֶ֖ם

into your temples

לְהֵיכְלֵיכֶֽם׃

The children

לִבְנֵ֣י

also of Judah

יְהוּדָה֙

The children

לִבְנֵ֣י

of Jerusalem

יְרוּשָׁלִַ֔ם

have ye sold

מְכַרְתֶּ֖ם

The children

לִבְנֵ֣י

unto the Grecians

הַיְּוָנִ֑ים

 

לְמַ֥עַן

that ye might remove them far

הַרְחִיקָ֖ם

 

מֵעַ֥ל

from their border

גְּבוּלָֽם׃

 

הִנְנִ֣י

Behold I will raise

מְעִירָ֔ם

 

מִן

them out of the place

הַ֨מָּק֔וֹם

 

אֲשֶׁר

whither ye have sold

מְכַרְתֶּ֥ם

 

אֹתָ֖ם

 

שָׁ֑מָּה

them and will return

וַהֲשִׁבֹתִ֥י

your recompence

גְמֻלְכֶ֖ם

upon your own head

בְּרֹאשְׁכֶֽם׃

And I will sell

וּמְכָר֥וּם

 

אֶת

of the children

בְּנֵ֣י

 

וְאֶת

and your daughters

בְּנֽוֹתֵיכֶ֗ם

into the hand

בְּיַד֙

of the children

בְּנֵ֣י

of Judah

יְהוּדָ֔ה

And I will sell

וּמְכָר֥וּם

them to the Sabeans

לִשְׁבָאיִ֖ם

 

אֶל

to a people

גּ֣וֹי

far off

רָח֑וֹק

 

כִּ֥י

for the LORD

יְהוָ֖ה

hath spoken

דִּבֵּֽר׃

Proclaim

קִרְאוּ

 

זֹאת֙

ye this among the Gentiles

בַּגּוֹיִ֔ם

Prepare

קַדְּשׁ֖וּ

of war

הַמִּלְחָמָֽה׃

wake up

הָעִ֙ירוּ֙

the mighty men

הַגִּבּוֹרִ֔ים

draw near

יִגְּשׁ֣וּ

let them come up

יַֽעֲל֔וּ

 

כֹּ֖ל

let all the men

אַנְשֵׁ֥י

of war

הַמִּלְחָמָֽה׃

Beat

כֹּ֤תּוּ

your plowshares

אִתֵּיכֶם֙

into swords

לַֽחֲרָב֔וֹת

and your pruninghooks

וּמַזְמְרֹֽתֵיכֶ֖ם

into spears

לִרְמָחִ֑ים

let the weak

הַֽחַלָּ֔שׁ

say

יֹאמַ֖ר

I am strong

גִּבּ֥וֹר

 

אָֽנִי׃

Assemble

ע֣וּשׁוּ

yourselves and come

וָבֹ֧אוּ

 

כָֽל

all ye heathen

הַגּוֹיִ֛ם

round about

מִסָּבִ֖יב

and gather yourselves together

וְנִקְבָּ֑צוּ

 

שָׁ֕מָּה

to come down

הַֽנְחַ֥ת

O LORD

יְהוָ֖ה

thither cause thy mighty ones

גִּבּוֹרֶֽיךָ׃

be wakened

יֵע֙וֹרוּ֙

and come up

וְיַעֲל֣וּ

Let the heathen

הַגּוֹיִ֖ם

 

אֶל

to the valley

עֵ֖מֶק

of Jehoshaphat

יְהֽוֹשָׁפָ֑ט

 

כִּ֣י

 

שָׁ֗ם

for there will I sit

to judge

Let the heathen

וְיָרֵ֖חַ

shall be darkened

and the stars

וְכוֹכָבִ֖ים

shall withdraw

אָסְפ֥וּ

their shining

נָגְהָֽם׃

The LORD

וַֽיהוָה֙

out of Zion

מִצִּיּ֣וֹן

also shall roar

יִשְׁאָ֗ג

from Jerusalem

וּמִירוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙

and utter

יִתֵּ֣ן

his voice

קוֹל֔וֹ

shall shake

וְרָעֲשׁ֖וּ

and the heavens

שָׁמַ֣יִם

and the earth

וָאָ֑רֶץ

The LORD

וַֽיהוָה֙

will be the hope

מַֽחֲסֶ֣ה

of his people

לְעַמּ֔וֹ

and the strength

וּמָע֖וֹז

of the children

לִבְנֵ֥י

of Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

So shall ye know

וִֽידַעְתֶּ֗ם

 

כִּ֣י

 

אֲנִ֤י

that I am the LORD

יְהוָה֙

your God

אֱלֹ֣הֵיכֶ֔ם

dwelling

שֹׁכֵ֖ן

in Zion

בְּצִיּ֣וֹן

mountain

הַר

be holy

קֹ֔דֶשׁ

 

וְהָיְתָ֤ה

then shall Jerusalem

יְרוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙

be holy

קֹ֔דֶשׁ

and there shall no strangers

וְזָרִ֥ים

 

לֹא

pass through

יַֽעַבְרוּ

 

בָ֖הּ

 

עֽוֹד׃

 

וְהָיָה֩

And it shall come to pass in that day

בַיּ֨וֹם

 

הַה֜וּא

shall drop down

יִטְּפ֧וּ

that the mountains

הֶהָרִ֣ים

new wine

עָסִ֗יס

and the hills

וְהַגְּבָעוֹת֙

 

תֵּלַ֣כְנָה

with milk

חָלָ֔ב

 

וְכָל

and all the rivers

אֲפִיקֵ֥י

of Judah

יְהוּדָ֖ה

 

יֵ֣לְכוּ

with waters

מָ֑יִם

and a fountain

וּמַעְיָ֗ן

of the house

מִבֵּ֤ית

of the LORD

יְהוָה֙

shall come forth

יֵצֵ֔א

and shall water

וְהִשְׁקָ֖ה

 

אֶת

the valley

נַ֥חַל

of Shittim

הַשִּׁטִּֽים׃

Egypt

מִצְרַ֙יִם֙

shall be a desolate

שְׁמָמָ֖ה

 

תִֽהְיֶ֔ה

and Edom

וֶאֱד֕וֹם

wilderness

לְמִדְבַּ֥ר

shall be a desolate

שְׁמָמָ֖ה

 

תִּֽהְיֶ֑ה

for the violence

מֵֽחֲמַס֙

against the children

בְּנֵ֣י

of Judah

יְהוּדָ֔ה

 

אֲשֶׁר

because they have shed

שָׁפְכ֥וּ

blood

דָם

innocent

נָקִ֖יא

in their land

בְּאַרְצָֽם׃

But Judah

וִיהוּדָ֖ה

for ever

לְעוֹלָ֣ם

shall dwell

תֵּשֵׁ֑ב

and Jerusalem

וִירוּשָׁלִַ֖ם

from generation

וָדֽוֹר׃

from generation

וָדֽוֹר׃

For I will cleanse

נִקֵּ֑יתִי

their blood

דָּמָ֣ם

 

לֹֽא

For I will cleanse

נִקֵּ֑יתִי

for the LORD

וַֽיהוָ֖ה

dwelleth

שֹׁכֵ֥ן

in Zion

בְּצִיּֽוֹן׃
