הִנֵּֽה

behold the silver

הַכֶּ֥סֶף

 

אִתִּ֖י

 

אֲנִ֣י

is with me I took

לְקַחְתִּ֑יו

And he said

וַתֹּ֣אמֶר

it And his mother

אִמּ֔וֹ

Blessed

בָּר֥וּךְ

my son

בְּנִ֖י

be thou of the LORD

לַֽיהוָֽה׃

And when he had restored

אֲשִׁיבֶ֥נּוּ

 

אֶת

וּמֵאָ֥ה

shekels of silver

הַכֶּסֶף֩

his mother

אִמּ֡וֹ

said

וַתֹּ֣אמֶר

his mother

הִקְדַּ֣שְׁתִּי

הִקְדַּ֣שְׁתִּי

 

אֶת

shekels of silver

הַכֶּסֶף֩

unto the LORD

לַֽיהוָ֨ה

from my hand

for my son

לִבְנִ֗י

to make

לַֽעֲשׂוֹת֙

a graven image

פֶּ֣סֶל

and a molten image

וּמַסֵּכָ֔ה

 

וְעַתָּ֖ה

And when he had restored

אֲשִׁיבֶ֥נּוּ

 

לָֽךְ׃

Yet he restored

וַיָּ֥שֶׁב

 

אֶת

shekels of silver

כֶּ֜סֶף

and his mother

אִמּוֹ֩

took

וַתִּקַּ֣ח

and his mother

אִמּוֹ֩

two hundred

מָאתַ֨יִם

shekels of silver

כֶּ֜סֶף

and gave

וַתִּתְּנֵ֣הוּ

them to the founder

לַצּוֹרֵ֗ף

who made

וַֽיַּעֲשֵׂ֙הוּ֙

thereof a graven image

פֶּ֣סֶל

and a molten image

וּמַסֵּכָ֔ה

 

וַֽיְהִ֖י

and they were in the house

בְּבֵ֥ית

of Micah

מִיכָֽיְהוּ׃

And the man

וְהָאִ֣ישׁ

Micah

מִיכָ֔ה

 

ל֖וֹ

had an house

בֵּ֣ית

of gods

אֱלֹהִ֑ים

and made

וַיַּ֤עַשׂ

an ephod

אֵפוֹד֙

and teraphim

וּתְרָפִ֔ים

and consecrated

וַיְמַלֵּ֗א

 

אֶת

 

יַ֤ד

one

אַחַד֙

of his sons

מִבָּנָ֔יו

 

וַֽיְהִי

 

ל֖וֹ

who became his priest

לְכֹהֵֽן׃

In those days

בַּיָּמִ֣ים

 

הָהֵ֔ם

 

אֵ֥ין

there was no king

מֶ֖לֶךְ

in Israel

בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל

but every man

אִ֛ישׁ

that which was right

הַיָּשָׁ֥ר

in his own eyes

בְּעֵינָ֖יו

did

יַֽעֲשֶֽׂה׃

 

וַֽיְהִי

And there was a young man

נַ֗עַר

 

מִבֵּ֥ית

out of Bethlehemjudah

לֶ֙חֶם֙

of Judah

יְהוּדָ֑ה

of the family

מִמִּשְׁפַּ֖חַת

of Judah

יְהוּדָ֑ה

 

וְה֥וּא

who was a Levite

לֵוִ֖י

 

וְה֥וּא

and he sojourned

גָֽר

 

שָֽׁם׃

 

וַיֵּ֨לֶךְ

And the man

הָאִ֜ישׁ

out of the city

מֵֽהָעִ֗יר

 

מִבֵּ֥ית

from Bethlehemjudah

לֶ֙חֶם֙

 

יְהוּדָ֔ה

to sojourn

לָג֖וּר

 

בַּֽאֲשֶׁ֣ר

where he could find

יִמְצָ֑א

a place and he came

וַיָּבֹ֧א

to mount

הַר

Ephraim

אֶפְרַ֛יִם

 

עַד

to the house

בֵּ֥ית

of Micah

מִיכָ֖ה

as he journeyed

לַֽעֲשׂ֥וֹת

 

דַּרְכּֽוֹ׃

said

וַיֹּ֨אמֶר

 

ל֥וֹ

And Micah

מִיכָ֖ה

unto him Whence

מֵאַ֣יִן

comest

תָּב֑וֹא

said

וַיֹּ֨אמֶר

 

אֵלָ֜יו

unto him I am a Levite

לֵוִ֣י

 

אָנֹ֗כִי

 

מִבֵּ֥ית

of Bethlehemjudah

לֶ֙חֶם֙

 

יְהוּדָ֔ה

 

וְאָֽנֹכִ֣י

and I go

הֹלֵ֔ךְ

to sojourn

לָג֖וּר

 

בַּֽאֲשֶׁ֥ר

where I may find

אֶמְצָֽא׃

said

וַיֹּאמֶר֩

 

ל֨וֹ

And Micah

מִיכָ֜ה

unto him Dwell

שְׁבָ֣ה

 

עִמָּדִ֗י

 

וֶֽהְיֵה

 

לִי֮

with me and be unto me a father

לְאָ֣ב

and a priest

וּלְכֹהֵן֒

 

וְאָֽנֹכִ֨י

and I will give

אֶֽתֶּן

 

לְךָ֜

thee ten

עֲשֶׂ֤רֶת

shekels of silver

כֶּ֙סֶף֙

by the year

לַיָּמִ֔ים

and a suit

וְעֵ֥רֶךְ

of apparel

בְּגָדִ֖ים

and thy victuals

וּמִֽחְיָתֶ֑ךָ

 

וַיֵּ֖לֶךְ

So the Levite

הַלֵּוִֽי׃

was content

וַיּ֥וֹאֶל

And the Levite

הַלֵּוִ֖י

to dwell

לָשֶׁ֣בֶת

 

אֶת

with the man

הָאִ֑ישׁ

 

וַיְהִ֤י

and the young man

הַנַּ֙עַר֙

 

ל֔וֹ

was unto him as one

כְּאַחַ֖ד

of his sons

מִבָּנָֽיו׃

consecrated

וַיְמַלֵּ֤א

And Micah

מִיכָֽה׃

 

אֶת

 

יַ֣ד

the Levite

הַלֵּוִ֔י

 

וַֽיְהִי

 

ל֥וֹ

and the young man

הַנַּ֖עַר

became his priest

לְכֹהֵ֑ן

 

וַיְהִ֖י

and was in the house

בְּבֵ֥ית

And Micah

מִיכָֽה׃

Then said

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר

Micah

מִיכָ֔ה

 

עַתָּ֣ה

Now know

יָדַ֔עְתִּי

 

כִּֽי

will do me good

יֵיטִ֥יב

I that the LORD

יְהוָ֖ה

 

לִ֑י

 

כִּ֧י

 

הָֽיָה

 

לִ֛י

seeing I have a Levite

הַלֵּוִ֖י

to my priest

לְכֹהֵֽן׃
