עֲזַבְתָּ֑נִי

But thou art holy

קָד֑וֹשׁ

O thou that inhabitest

י֝וֹשֵׁ֗ב

the praises

תְּהִלּ֥וֹת

of Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

 

בְּ֭ךָ

in thee they trusted

בָּ֝טְח֗וּ

Our fathers

אֲבֹתֵ֑ינוּ

in thee they trusted

בָּ֝טְח֗וּ

and thou didst deliver

וַֽתְּפַלְּטֵֽמוֹ׃

 

אֵלֶ֣יךָ

They cried

זָעֲק֣וּ

unto thee and were delivered

וְנִמְלָ֑טוּ

 

בְּךָ֖

they trusted

בָטְח֣וּ

 

וְלֹא

in thee and were not confounded

בֽוֹשׁוּ׃

 

וְאָנֹכִ֣י

But I am a worm

תוֹלַ֣עַת

 

וְלֹא

and no man

אִ֑ישׁ

a reproach

חֶרְפַּ֥ת

of men

אָ֝דָ֗ם

and despised

וּבְז֥וּי

of the people

עָֽם׃

 

כָּל

All they that see

רֹ֭אַי

me laugh me to scorn

יַלְעִ֣גוּ

the lip

בְ֝שָׂפָ֗ה

they shake

יָנִ֥יעוּ

He trusted

on the LORD

יְהוָ֣ה

that he would deliver

יְפַלְּטֵ֑הוּ

him let him deliver

him seeing he delighted

But thou art he that took

גֹחִ֣י

me out of the womb

מִבָּ֑טֶן

thou didst make me hope

breasts

when I was upon my mother's

עָ֭לֶיךָ

I was cast

הָשְׁלַ֣כְתִּי

upon thee from the womb

מֵרָ֑חֶם

belly

מִבֶּ֥טֶן

from my mother's

אִ֝מִּ֗י

thou art my God

אֵ֣לִי

אַל

Be not far

תִּרְחַ֣ק

 

מִ֭מֶּנִּי

 

כִּי

from me for trouble

צָרָ֣ה

is near

קְרוֹבָ֑ה

 

כִּי

 

אֵ֥ין

for there is none to help

עוֹזֵֽר׃

have compassed

סְ֭בָבוּנִי

bulls

פָּרִ֣ים

Many

רַבִּ֑ים

me strong

אַבִּירֵ֖י

bulls of Bashan

בָשָׁ֣ן

have beset me round

כִּתְּרֽוּנִי׃

They gaped

פָּצ֣וּ

 

עָלַ֣י

upon me with their mouths

פִּיהֶ֑ם

lion

אַ֝רְיֵ֗ה

as a ravening

טֹרֵ֥ף

and a roaring

וְשֹׁאֵֽג׃

like water

כַּמַּ֥יִם

I am poured out

נִשְׁפַּכְתִּי֮

are out of joint

וְהִתְפָּֽרְד֗וּ

 

כָּֽל

and all my bones

עַצְמ֫וֹתָ֥י

 

הָיָ֣ה

my heart

לִ֭בִּי

is like wax

כַּדּוֹנָ֑ג

it is melted

נָ֝מֵ֗ס

in the midst

בְּת֣וֹךְ

of my bowels

מֵעָֽי׃

is dried up

יָ֘בֵ֤שׁ

like a potsherd

כַּחֶ֨רֶשׂ׀

My strength

כֹּחִ֗י

and my tongue

וּ֭לְשׁוֹנִי

cleaveth

מֻדְבָּ֣ק

to my jaws

מַלְקוֹחָ֑י

me into the dust

וְֽלַעֲפַר

of death

מָ֥וֶת

and thou hast brought

תִּשְׁפְּתֵֽנִי׃

 

כִּ֥י

have compassed

סְבָב֗וּנִי

For dogs

כְּלָ֫בִ֥ים

me the assembly

עֲדַ֣ת

of the wicked

מְ֭רֵעִים

have inclosed

הִקִּיפ֑וּנִי

me they pierced

כָּ֝אֲרִ֗י

my hands

יָדַ֥י

and my feet

וְרַגְלָֽי׃

I may tell

אֲסַפֵּ֥ר

 

כָּל

all my bones

עַצְמוֹתָ֑י

 

הֵ֥מָּה

they look

יַ֝בִּ֗יטוּ

and stare

יִרְאוּ

They part

יְחַלְּק֣וּ

my garments

בְגָדַ֣י

 

לָהֶ֑ם

 

וְעַל

upon my vesture

לְ֝בוּשִׁ֗י

among them and cast

יַפִּ֥ילוּ

וְאַתָּ֣ה

from me O LORD

יְ֭הוָה

 

אַל

But be not thou far

תִּרְחָ֑ק

O my strength

אֱ֝יָלוּתִ֗י

thee to help

לְעֶזְרָ֥תִי

haste

חֽוּשָׁה׃

Deliver

הַצִּ֣ילָה

from the sword

מֵחֶ֣רֶב

my soul

נַפְשִׁ֑י

from the power

מִיַּד

of the dog

כֶּ֝֗לֶב

my darling

יְחִידָתִֽי׃

Save

ה֭וֹשִׁיעֵנִי

mouth

מִפִּ֣י

me from the lion's

אַרְיֵ֑ה

me from the horns

וּמִקַּרְנֵ֖י

of the unicorns

for thou hast heard

I will declare

Ye that fear

before them that fear

יְרֵאָֽיו׃

יֹאכְל֬וּ

The meek

עֲנָוִ֨ים׀

and be satisfied

וְיִשְׂבָּ֗עוּ

they shall praise

יְהַֽלְל֣וּ

the LORD

יְ֭הוָה

that seek

דֹּ֣רְשָׁ֑יו

shall live

יְחִ֖י

him your heart

לְבַבְכֶ֣ם

for ever

לָעַֽד׃

shall remember

יִזְכְּר֤וּ׀

and turn

וְיָשֻׁ֣בוּ

 

אֶל

unto the LORD

יְ֭הוָה

shall worship

וְיִֽשְׁתַּחֲו֥וּ

before

לְ֝פָנֶ֗יךָ

and all the kindreds

מִשְׁפְּח֥וֹת

of the nations

כִּ֣י

is the LORD'S

לַ֭יהוָה

For the kingdom

הַמְּלוּכָ֑ה

and he is the governor

וּ֝מֹשֵׁ֗ל

among the nations

בַּגּוֹיִֽם׃

shall eat

אָכְל֬וּ

and worship

וַיִּֽשְׁתַּחֲוּ֨וּ׀

 

כָּֽל

All they that be fat

דִּשְׁנֵי

upon earth

אֶ֗רֶץ

before

לְפָנָ֣יו

shall bow

יִ֭כְרְעוּ

 

כָּל

all they that go down

יוֹרְדֵ֣י

to the dust

עָפָ֑ר

his own soul

וְ֝נַפְשׁ֗וֹ

 

לֹ֣א

him and none can keep alive

חִיָּֽה׃

A seed

זֶ֥רַע

shall serve

יַֽעַבְדֶ֑נּוּ

him it shall be accounted

יְסֻפַּ֖ר

to the Lord

לַֽאדֹנָ֣י

for a generation

לַדּֽוֹר׃

They shall come

יָ֭בֹאוּ

and shall declare

וְיַגִּ֣ידוּ

his righteousness

צִדְקָת֑וֹ

unto a people

לְעַ֥ם

that shall be born

נ֝וֹלָ֗ד

 

כִּ֣י

that he hath done

עָשָֽׂה׃
