a fire

אֵשׁ

לְפָנָ֥יו

shall devour

תֹּאכֵ֑ל

round about

וּ֝סְבִיבָ֗יו

tempestuous

נִשְׂעֲרָ֥ה

him and it shall be very

מְאֹֽד׃

He shall call

יִקְרָ֣א

 

אֶל

to the heavens

הַשָּׁמַ֣יִם

from above

מֵעָ֑ל

 

וְאֶל

and to the earth

הָ֝אָ֗רֶץ

that he may judge

לָדִ֥ין

his people

עַמּֽוֹ׃

Gather

אִסְפוּ

 

לִ֥י

my saints

חֲסִידָ֑י

together unto me those that have made

כֹּרְתֵ֖י

a covenant

בְרִיתִ֣י

 

עֲלֵי

with me by sacrifice

זָֽבַח׃

shall declare

וַיַּגִּ֣ידוּ

And the heavens

שָׁמַ֣יִם

his righteousness

צִדְק֑וֹ

 

כִּֽי

for God

אֱלֹהִ֓ים׀

is judge

שֹׁפֵ֖ט

 

ה֣וּא

himself Selah

סֶֽלָה׃

Hear

שִׁמְעָ֤ה

O my people

עַמִּ֨י׀

and I will speak

וַאֲדַבֵּ֗רָה

O Israel

יִ֭שְׂרָאֵל

and I will testify

וְאָעִ֣ידָה

 

בָּ֑ךְ

against thee I am God

אֱלֹהֶ֣יךָ

against thee I am God

אֱלֹהֶ֣יךָ

 

אָנֹֽכִי׃

 

לֹ֣א

 

עַל

thee for thy sacrifices

זְ֭בָחֶיךָ

I will not reprove

אוֹכִיחֶ֑ךָ

or thy burnt offerings

וְעוֹלֹתֶ֖יךָ

 

לְנֶגְדִּ֣י

to have been continually

תָמִֽיד׃

 

לֹא

I will take

אֶקַּ֣ח

out of thy house

מִבֵּיתְךָ֣

no bullock

פָ֑ר

out of thy folds

מִ֝מִּכְלְאֹתֶ֗יךָ

nor he goats

עַתּוּדִֽים׃

 

כִּי

 

לִ֥י

 

כָל

For every beast

חַיְתוֹ

of the forest

יָ֑עַר

is mine and the cattle

בְּ֝הֵמ֗וֹת

hills

בְּהַרְרֵי

upon a thousand

אָֽלֶף׃

I know

יָ֭דַעְתִּי

 

כָּל

all the fowls

ע֣וֹף

of the mountains

הָרִ֑ים

and the wild beasts

וְזִ֥יז

of the field

שָׂ֝דַ֗י

are mine

עִמָּדִֽי׃

 

אִם

If I were hungry

אֶ֭רְעַב

 

לֹא

I would not tell

אֹ֣מַר

 

לָ֑ךְ

 

כִּי

 

לִ֥י

thee for the world

תֵ֝בֵ֗ל

is mine and the fulness

וּמְלֹאָֽהּ׃

Will I eat

הַֽ֭אוֹכַל

the flesh

בְּשַׂ֣ר

of bulls

אַבִּירִ֑ים

the blood

וְדַ֖ם

of goats

עַתּוּדִ֣ים

or drink

אֶשְׁתֶּֽה׃

Offer

זְבַ֣ח

unto God

לֵאלֹהִ֣ים

thanksgiving

תּוֹדָ֑ה

and pay

וְשַׁלֵּ֖ם

unto the most High

לְעֶלְי֣וֹן

thy vows

נְדָרֶֽיךָ׃

And call

וּ֭קְרָאֵנִי

upon me in the day

בְּי֣וֹם

of trouble

צָרָ֑ה

I will deliver

אֲ֝חַלֶּצְךָ֗

thee and thou shalt glorify

וּֽתְכַבְּדֵֽנִי׃

But unto the wicked

וְלָ֤רָשָׁ֨ע׀

saith

אָ֘מַ֤ר

God

my statutes

or that thou shouldest take

וְ֭אַתָּה

Seeing thou hatest

שָׂנֵ֣אתָ

instruction

מוּסָ֑ר

and castest

וַתַּשְׁלֵ֖ךְ

my words

דְּבָרַ֣י

behind

אַחֲרֶֽיךָ׃

 

אִם

When thou sawest

רָאִ֣יתָ

a thief

גַ֭נָּב

then thou consentedst

וַתִּ֣רֶץ

 

עִמּ֑וֹ

 

וְעִ֖ם

with adulterers

מְנָאֲפִ֣ים

with him and hast been partaker

חֶלְקֶֽךָ׃

thy mouth

פִּ֭יךָ

Thou givest

שָׁלַ֣חְתָּ

to evil

בְרָעָ֑ה

and thy tongue

וּ֝לְשׁוֹנְךָ֗

frameth

תַּצְמִ֥יד

deceit

מִרְמָֽה׃

Thou sittest

תֵּ֭שֵׁב

against thy brother

בְּאָחִ֣יךָ

and speakest

תְדַבֵּ֑ר

son

בְּבֶֽן

thine own mother's

אִ֝מְּךָ֗

thou

תִּתֶּן

slanderest

דֹּֽפִי׃

 

אֵ֤לֶּה

These things hast thou done

עָשִׂ֨יתָ׀

and I kept silence

וְֽהֶחֱרַ֗שְׁתִּי

thou thoughtest

דִּמִּ֗יתָ

that I was altogether

אֶֽהְיֶ֥ה

that I was altogether

כָמ֑וֹךָ

such an one as thyself but I will reprove

אוֹכִיחֲךָ֖

thee and set them in order

וְאֶֽעֶרְכָ֣ה

before thine eyes

לְעֵינֶֽיךָ׃

this ye that forget

שֹׁכְחֵ֣י

God

אֱל֑וֹהַּ

 

פֶּן

lest I tear you in pieces

אֶ֝טְרֹ֗ף

 

וְאֵ֣ין

and there be none to deliver

מַצִּֽיל׃

Whoso offereth

זֹבֵ֥חַ

praise

תּוֹדָ֗ה

glorifieth

יְֽכַ֫בְּדָ֥נְנִי

me and to him that ordereth

וְשָׂ֥ם

his conversation

דֶּ֑רֶךְ

aright will I shew

אַ֝רְאֶ֗נּוּ

the salvation

בְּיֵ֣שַׁע

of God

אֱלֹהִֽים׃
