thy name

And I will bless

וְנִבְרְכ֣וּ

And I will bless

וְנִבְרְכ֣וּ

him that curseth

וּמְקַלֶּלְךָ֖

thee and curse

אָאֹ֑ר

And I will bless

וְנִבְרְכ֣וּ

thee and in thee shall all families

מִשְׁפְּחֹ֥ת

of the earth

הָֽאֲדָמָֽה׃

וְשִׁבְעִ֣ים

שָׁנָ֔ה

when he departed

בְּצֵאת֖וֹ

out of Haran

מֵֽחָרָֽן׃

took

וַיִּקַּ֣ח

And Abram

אַבְרָם֩

Sarai

שָׂרַ֨י

his wife

אִשְׁתּ֜וֹ

 

וְאֶת

and Lot

ל֣וֹט

son

בֶּן

his brother's

רְכוּשָׁם֙

 

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

that they had gathered

רָכָ֔שׁוּ

and the souls

עָשׂ֣וּ

in Haran

בְחָרָ֑ן

and they went forth

וַיֵּֽצְא֗וּ

And the LORD

לַֽיהוָ֖ה

unto Abram

אַבְרָ֔ם

and said

וַיֹּ֕אמֶר

Unto thy seed

לְזַ֨רְעֲךָ֔

will I give

אֶתֵּ֖ן

הָאָ֣רֶץ

הַזֹּ֑את

and there builded

וַיִּ֤בֶן

 

שָׁם֙

he an altar

מִזְבֵּ֔חַ

And the LORD

לַֽיהוָ֖ה

appeared

הַנִּרְאֶ֥ה

 

אֵלָֽיו׃

And he removed

וַיַּעְתֵּ֨ק

 

מִשָּׁ֜ם

from thence unto a mountain

הָהָ֗רָה

on the east

מִקֶּ֔דֶם

and pitched

וַיֵּ֣ט

his tent

And there was a famine

הָֽרָעָ֖ב

in the land

בָּאָֽרֶץ׃

וַיֵּ֨רֶד

and Abram

אַבְרָ֤ם

into Egypt

מִצְרַ֙יְמָה֙

to sojourn

לָג֣וּר

 

שָׁ֔ם

 

כִּֽי

was grievous

כָבֵ֥ד

And there was a famine

הָֽרָעָ֖ב

in the land

בָּאָֽרֶץ׃

 

וַיְהִ֕י

And it came to pass when

כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֥ר

he was come near

הִקְרִ֖יב

to enter

לָב֣וֹא

into Egypt

מִצְרָ֑יְמָה

that he said

וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙

 

אֶל

unto Sarai

שָׂרַ֣י

his wife

אִשָּׁ֥ה

Behold

הִנֵּה

now

נָ֣א

I know

יָדַ֔עְתִּי

 

כִּ֛י

his wife

אִשָּׁ֥ה

that thou art a fair

יְפַת

to look upon

מַרְאֶ֖ה

 

אָֽתְּ׃

 

וְהָיָ֗ה

 

כִּֽי

shall see

יִרְא֤וּ

 

אֹתָךְ֙

Therefore it shall come to pass when the Egyptians

הַמִּצְרִ֔ים

thee that they shall say

וְאָֽמְר֖וּ

This is his wife

אִשְׁתּ֣וֹ

 

זֹ֑את

and they will kill

וְהָֽרְג֥וּ

 

אֹתִ֖י

 

וְאֹתָ֥ךְ

me but they will save thee alive

יְחַיּֽוּ׃

Say

אִמְרִי

I pray thee

נָ֖א

thou art my sister

אֲחֹ֣תִי

 

אָ֑תְּ

that

לְמַ֙עַן֙

it may be well

יִֽיטַב

 

לִ֣י

 

בַֽעֲבוּרֵ֔ךְ

shall live

וְחָֽיְתָ֥ה

with me for thy sake and my soul

נַפְשִׁ֖י

because of thee

בִּגְלָלֵֽךְ׃

 

וַיְהִ֕י

And it came to pass that when Abram

אַבְרָ֖ם

into Egypt

מִצְרָ֑יְמָה

beheld

וַיִּרְא֤וּ

the Egyptians

הַמִּצְרִים֙

 

אֶת

the woman

הָ֣אִשָּׁ֔ה

 

כִּֽי

fair

יָפָ֥ה

 

הִ֖וא

that she was very

מְאֹֽד׃

saw

וַיִּרְא֤וּ

 

אֹתָהּ֙

The princes

שָׂרֵ֣י

Pharaoh

פַּרְעֹֽה׃

her and commended

וַיְהַֽלְל֥וּ

 

אֹתָ֖הּ

her before

אֶל

Pharaoh

פַּרְעֹֽה׃

was taken

וַתֻּקַּ֥ח

and the woman

הָֽאִשָּׁ֖ה

and camels

וּגְמַלִּֽים׃

וַיְנַגַּ֨ע

And the LORD

Pharaoh

נְגָעִ֥ים

גְּדֹלִ֖ים

and his house

בֵּית֑וֹ
