and he shall burn

And thou shalt not escape out

תִמָּלֵט֙

into his hand

וּבְיָד֖וֹ

of thee Thou shalt not die

by the sword

בֶּחָֽרֶב׃

in peace

בְּשָׁל֣וֹם

But thou shalt die

תָּמ֗וּת

and with the burnings

וּֽכְמִשְׂרְפ֣וֹת

of thy fathers

אֲ֠בוֹתֶיךָ

kings

הַמְּלָכִ֨ים

the former

הָרִֽאשֹׁנִ֜ים

 

אֲשֶׁר

 

הָי֣וּ

which were before

לְפָנֶ֗יךָ

thee so shall they burn

a covenant

אֲב֣וֹתֵיכֶ֔ם

in the day

that I brought them forth

הוֹצִאִ֤י

 

אוֹתָם֙

out of the land

מֵאֶ֣רֶץ

of Egypt

מִצְרַ֔יִם

out of the house

מִבֵּ֥ית

of bondmen

עֲבָדִ֖ים

Therefore thus saith

אָמַ֣ר

the LORD

Ye have not hearkened

שְׁמַעְתֶּ֣ם

 

אֵלַ֔י

behold I proclaim

קֹרֵא֩

a liberty

דְּר֜וֹר

and every man

וְאִ֣ישׁ

to his brother

לְאָחִ֖יו

and every man

וְאִ֣ישׁ

to his neighbour

לְרֵעֵ֑הוּ

 

הִנְנִ֣י

a desolation
