There is a voice

of the roaring

שֻׁדַּ֖ד

for the pride

גְּא֥וֹן

of Jordan

הַיַּרְדֵּֽן׃

 

כֹּ֥ה

Thus saith

אָמַ֖ר

the LORD

יְהוָ֣ה

my God

אֱלֹהָ֑י

Feed

רְעֵ֖ה

 

אֶת

the flock

צֹ֥אן

of the slaughter

הַהֲרֵגָֽה׃

 

אֲשֶׁ֨ר

Whose possessors

קֹנֵיהֶ֤ן

slay

יַֽהַרְגֻן֙

 

וְלֹ֣א

them and hold themselves not guilty

יֶאְשָׁ֔מוּ

and they that sell

וּמֹכְרֵיהֶ֣ן

them say

יֹאמַ֔ר

Blessed

בָּר֥וּךְ

be the LORD

יְהוָ֖ה

for I am rich

וַאעְשִׁ֑ר

and their own shepherds

וְרֹ֣עֵיהֶ֔ם

 

לֹ֥א

pity

יַחְמ֖וֹל

 

עֲלֵיהֶֽן׃

 

כִּ֠י

 

לֹ֣א

For I will no more pity

אֶחְמ֥וֹל

 

ע֛וֹד

 

עַל

the inhabitants

יֹשְׁבֵ֥י

of the land

הָאָ֔רֶץ

saith

נְאֻם

the LORD

יְהוָ֑ה

 

וְהִנֵּ֨ה

 

אָנֹכִ֜י

but lo I will deliver

מַמְצִ֣יא

 

אֶת

the men

הָאָדָ֗ם

every one

אִ֤ישׁ

and into the hand

מִיָּדָֽם׃

into his neighbour's

רֵעֵ֙הוּ֙

and into the hand

מִיָּדָֽם׃

of his king

מַלְכּ֔וֹ

and they shall smite

וְכִתְּתוּ֙

 

אֶת

of the land

הָאָ֔רֶץ

 

וְלֹ֥א

I will not deliver

אַצִּ֖יל

and into the hand

מִיָּדָֽם׃

And I will feed

וָאֶרְעֶ֖ה

 

אֶת

of the flock

הַצֹּֽאן׃

of slaughter

הַֽהֲרֵגָ֔ה

even you

לָכֵ֖ן

O poor

עֲנִיֵּ֣י

of the flock

הַצֹּֽאן׃

And I took

וָאֶקַּֽח

unto me two

שְׁנֵ֣י

staves

מַקְל֗וֹת

and the other

וּלְאַחַד֙

I called

קָרָ֣אתִי

Beauty

נֹ֙עַם֙

and the other

וּלְאַחַד֙

I called

קָרָ֣אתִי

 

חֹֽבְלִ֔ים

And I will feed

וָאֶרְעֶ֖ה

 

אֶת

of the flock

הַצֹּֽאן׃

also I cut off

וָאַכְחִ֛ד

 

אֶת

שְׁלֹ֥שֶׁת

shepherds

הָרֹעִ֖ים

בְּיֶ֣רַח

וַתִּקְצַ֤ר

and my soul

Then said

וָאֹמַ֕ר

I I will not feed

אֶרְעֶ֖ה

and that that is to be cut off

תִּכָּחֵ֔ד

and that that is to be cut off

and let the rest

וְהַ֨נִּשְׁאָר֔וֹת

לְהָפֵיר֙

הָעַמִּֽים׃

And it was broken

וַתֻּפַ֖ר

in that day

בַּיּ֣וֹם

 

הַה֑וּא

upon me knew

הַצֹּאן֙

And I said

אֲלֵיהֶ֗ם

for my price

שְׂכָרִ֖י

לֹ֣א׀

So they weighed

וַיִּשְׁקְל֥וּ

וַיֹּ֨אמֶר

And the LORD

יְהוָ֖ה

 

אֵלַ֗י

it unto the potter

הַיּוֹצֵֽר׃

a goodly

אֶ֣דֶר

הַיְקָ֔ר

 

אֲשֶׁ֥ר

that I was prised

יָקַ֖רְתִּי

 

מֵֽעֲלֵיהֶ֑ם

וָֽאֶקְחָה֙

שְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים

pieces of silver

הַכֶּ֔סֶף

and cast

וָאַשְׁלִ֥יךְ

in the house

בֵּ֥ית

And the LORD

יְהוָ֖ה

 

אֶל

it unto the potter

Then I cut asunder

וָֽאֶגְדַּע֙

לְךָ֔

unto thee yet the instruments

כְּלִ֖י

shepherd

רֹעֶ֥ה

of a foolish

אֱוִלִֽי׃

 

כִּ֣י

 

הִנֵּֽה

 

אָנֹכִי֩

For lo I will raise up

מֵקִ֨ים

a shepherd

רֹעֶ֜ה

in the land

בָּאָ֗רֶץ

those that be cut off

הַנִּכְחָד֤וֹת

 

לֹֽא

which shall not visit

יִפְקֹד֙

the young one

הַנַּ֣עַר

 

לֹֽא

neither shall seek

יְבַקֵּ֔שׁ

that that is broken

וְהַנִּשְׁבֶּ֖רֶת

 

לֹ֣א

nor heal

יְרַפֵּ֑א

that that standeth

הַנִּצָּבָה֙

 

לֹ֣א

nor feed

יְכַלְכֵּ֔ל

וּבְשַׂ֤ר

הַבְּרִיאָה֙

still but he shall eat

to the idol
