it on the ground

וַיְהִ֣י

and it became a serpent

לְנָחָ֑שׁ

וַיָּ֥נָס

and Moses

מִפָּנָֽיו׃

וַיֹּ֤אמֶר

אֶל

unto Moses

מֹשֶׁ֔ה

And he put forth

וַיִּשְׁלַ֤ח

his hand

יָדוֹ֙

and take

וֶֽאֱחֹ֖ז

it by the tail

בִּזְנָב֑וֹ

And he put forth

וַיִּשְׁלַ֤ח

and caught

וַיַּ֣חֲזֶק

 

בּ֔וֹ

 

וַיְהִ֥י

it and it became a rod

לְמַטֶּ֖ה

in his hand

בְּכַפּֽוֹ׃

That they may believe

יַֽאֲמִ֔ינוּ

הַלֵּוִ֔י

And also behold he cometh forth

בְּלִבּֽוֹ׃

And thou shalt speak

which I have put

in thine hand

בְיָדֶ֔ךָ

לִפְנֵ֣י

Pharaoh

פַרְעֹ֑ה

 

וַֽאֲנִי֙

but I will harden

אֲחַזֵּ֣ק

his heart

לִבּ֔וֹ

יְשַׁלַּ֖ח

that he shall not let the people

הָעָֽם׃

And thou shalt say

unto Pharaoh

behold I will slay

הֲמִיתֽוֹ׃

Then Zipporah

צִפֹּרָ֜ה

a sharp stone

and cut off

עָרְלַ֣ת

of her son

בְּנָ֔הּ

and cast

וַתַּגַּ֖ע

it at his feet

לְרַגְלָ֑יו

וַֽיִּפְגְּשֵׁ֛הוּ

him in the mount

הָֽאֱלֹהִ֖ים

and kissed

וַיִּשַּׁק
