in his hand

וַיִּמְצָ֨א

And Joseph

grace

in his sight

בְּעֵינָ֖יו

and he served

וַיְשָׁ֣רֶת

him and he made him overseer

וַיַּפְקִדֵ֙הוּ֙

and got him

הַחֽוּצָה׃

And she laid up

וַתַּנַּ֥ח

בִּגְד֖וֹ

בֵּיתֽוֹ׃

And she spake

הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ

and he was there in the prison

But the LORD

was with Joseph

and shewed

him mercy

חָ֑סֶד

and gave

וַיִּתֵּ֣ן

him favour

חִנּ֔וֹ

in the sight

בְּעֵינֵ֖י

of the keeper

שַׂ֥ר

of the prison

בֵּית

 

הַסֹּֽהַר׃

committed

וַיִּתֵּ֞ן

And the keeper
