delighteth
רָצְתָ֣ה
in whom my soul

I have put
נָתַ֤תִּי
my spirit
רוּחִי֙
 
עָלָ֔יו
judgment
מִשְׁפָּ֖ט
to the Gentiles
לַגּוֹיִ֥ם
upon him he shall bring forth
יוֹצִֽיא׃

לֹ֥א
He shall not cry
יִצְעַ֖ק
 
וְלֹ֣א
nor lift up
יִשָּׂ֑א
 
וְלֹֽא
to be heard
יַשְׁמִ֥יעַ
in the street
בַּח֖וּץ
nor cause his voice
קוֹלֽוֹ׃

קָנֶ֤ה
A bruised
רָצוּץ֙
 
לֹ֣א
shall he not break
יִשְׁבּ֔וֹר
flax
וּפִשְׁתָּ֥ה
and the smoking
כֵהָ֖ה
 
לֹ֣א
shall he not quench
יְכַבֶּ֑נָּה
unto truth
לֶאֱמֶ֖ת
he shall bring forth
יוֹצִ֥יא
judgment
מִשְׁפָּֽט׃

לֹ֤א
He shall not fail
יִכְהֶה֙
 
וְלֹ֣א
nor be discouraged
יָר֔וּץ
 
עַד
till he have set
יָשִׂ֥ים
in the earth
בָּאָ֖רֶץ
judgment
מִשְׁפָּ֑ט
for his law
וּלְתוֹרָת֖וֹ
and the isles
אִיִּ֥ים
shall wait
יְיַחֵֽלוּ׃

Thus saith
אָמַ֞ר
God
הָאֵ֣ל׀
the LORD
יְהוָ֗ה
he that created
בּוֹרֵ֤א
the heavens
הַשָּׁמַ֙יִם֙
and stretched them out
וְנ֣וֹטֵיהֶ֔ם
he that spread forth
רֹקַ֥ע
the earth
הָאָ֖רֶץ
and that which cometh out
וְצֶאֱצָאֶ֑יהָ
of it he that giveth
נֹתֵ֤ן
breath
נְשָׁמָה֙
unto the people
לָעָ֣ם
 
עָלֶ֔יהָ
upon it and spirit
וְר֖וּחַ
to them that walk
לַהֹלְכִ֥ים
 
בָּֽהּ׃

אֲנִ֧י
I the LORD
יְהוָ֛ה
have called
קְרָאתִ֥יךָֽ
thee in righteousness
בְצֶ֖דֶק
and will hold
וְאַחְזֵ֣ק
thine hand
בְּיָדֶ֑ךָ
and will keep
וְאֶצָּרְךָ֗
thee and give
וְאֶתֶּנְךָ֛
thee for a covenant
לִבְרִ֥ית
of the people
עָ֖ם
for a light
לְא֥וֹר
of the Gentiles
גּוֹיִֽם׃

To open
לִפְקֹ֖חַ
eyes
עֵינַ֣יִם
the blind
עִוְר֑וֹת
to bring out
לְהוֹצִ֤יא
from the prison
מִמַּסְגֵּר֙
the prisoners
אַסִּ֔יר
house
מִבֵּ֥ית
out of the prison
כֶּ֖לֶא
and them that sit
יֹ֥שְׁבֵי
in darkness
חֹֽשֶׁךְ׃

אֲנִ֥י
I am the LORD
יְהוָ֖ה
 
ה֣וּא
that is my name
שְׁמִ֑י
and my glory
וּכְבוֹדִי֙
to another
לְאַחֵ֣ר
 
לֹֽא
will I not give
אֶתֵּ֔ן
neither my praise
וּתְהִלָּתִ֖י
to graven images
לַפְּסִילִֽים׃

Behold the former things
הָרִֽאשֹׁנ֖וֹת
 
הִנֵּה
are come to pass
בָ֑אוּ
and new things
וַֽחֲדָשׁוֹת֙
 
אֲנִ֣י
do I declare
מַגִּ֔יד
 
בְּטֶ֥רֶם
before they spring forth
תִּצְמַ֖חְנָה
I tell
אַשְׁמִ֥יע
 
אֶתְכֶֽם׃

Sing
שִׁ֤ירוּ
unto the LORD
לַֽיהוָה֙
song
שִׁ֣יר
a new
חָדָ֔שׁ
and his praise
תְּהִלָּת֖וֹ
from the end
מִקְצֵ֣ה
of the earth
הָאָ֑רֶץ
ye that go down
יוֹרְדֵ֤י
to the sea
הַיָּם֙
and all that is therein
וּמְלֹא֔וֹ
the isles
אִיִּ֖ים
and the inhabitants
וְיֹשְׁבֵיהֶֽם׃

thereof lift up
יִשְׂא֤וּ
Let the wilderness
מִדְבָּר֙
and the cities
וְעָרָ֔יו
their voice the villages
חֲצֵרִ֖ים
doth inhabit
יֹ֣שְׁבֵי
that Kedar
קֵדָ֑ר
sing
יָרֹ֙נּוּ֙
doth inhabit
יֹ֣שְׁבֵי
of the rock
סֶ֔לַע
from the top
מֵרֹ֥אשׁ
of the mountains
הָרִ֖ים
let them shout
יִצְוָֽחוּ׃

Let them give
יָשִׂ֥ימוּ
unto the LORD
לַֽיהוָ֖ה
glory
כָּב֑וֹד
his praise
וּתְהִלָּת֖וֹ
in the islands
בָּאִיִּ֥ים
and declare
יַגִּֽידוּ׃
13
The LORD
יְהוָה֙
as a mighty man
כַּגִּבּ֣וֹר
shall go forth
יֵצֵ֔א
like a man
כְּאִ֥ישׁ
of war
מִלְחָמ֖וֹת
he shall stir up
יָעִ֣יר
jealousy
קִנְאָ֑ה
he shall cry
יָרִ֙יעַ֙
 
אַף
yea roar
יַצְרִ֔יחַ
 
עַל
against his enemies
אֹיְבָ֖יו
he shall prevail
יִתְגַּבָּֽר׃

holden my peace
הֶחֱשֵׁ֙יתִי֙
I have long time
מֵֽעוֹלָ֔ם
I have been still
אַחֲרִ֖ישׁ
and refrained
אֶתְאַפָּ֑ק
like a travailing woman
כַּיּוֹלֵדָ֣ה
myself now will I cry
אֶפְעֶ֔ה
I will destroy
אֶשֹּׁ֥ם
and devour
וְאֶשְׁאַ֖ף
at once
יָֽחַד׃
15
I will make waste
אַחֲרִ֤יב
mountains
הָרִים֙
and hills
וּגְבָע֔וֹת
 
וְכָל
all their herbs
עֶשְׂבָּ֖ם
and I will dry up
אוֹבִֽישׁ׃
and I will make
וְשַׂמְתִּ֤י
the rivers
נְהָרוֹת֙
islands
לָֽאִיִּ֔ים
the pools
וַאֲגַמִּ֖ים
and I will dry up
אוֹבִֽישׁ׃

וְהוֹלַכְתִּ֣י
the blind
עִוְרִ֗ים
by a way
בְּדֶ֙רֶךְ֙
 
לֹ֣א
that they have not known
יָדְע֖וּ
them in paths
בִּנְתִיב֥וֹת
 
לֹֽא
that they have not known
יָדְע֖וּ
not I will lead
אַדְרִיכֵ֑ם
I will make
אָשִׂים֩
darkness
מַחְשָׁ֨ךְ
before
לִפְנֵיהֶ֜ם
light
לָא֗וֹר
them and crooked things
וּמַֽעֲקַשִּׁים֙
straight
לְמִישׁ֔וֹר
 
אֵ֚לֶּה
These things
הַדְּבָרִ֔ים
will I do
עֲשִׂיתִ֖ם
 
וְלֹ֥א
unto them and not forsake
עֲזַבְתִּֽים׃

They shall be turned
נָסֹ֤גוּ
back
אָחוֹר֙
ashamed
יֵבֹ֣שׁוּ
they shall be greatly
בֹ֔שֶׁת
that trust
הַבֹּטְחִ֖ים
in graven images
בַּפָּ֑סֶל
that say
הָאֹמְרִ֥ים
to the molten images
לְמַסֵּכָ֖ה
 
אַתֶּ֥ם
Ye are our gods
אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃

ye deaf
הַחֵרְשִׁ֖ים
Hear
שְׁמָ֑עוּ
ye blind
וְהַעִוְרִ֖ים
and look
הַבִּ֥יטוּ
that ye may see
לִרְאֽוֹת׃

מִ֤י
Who is blind
וְעִוֵּ֖ר
 
כִּ֣י
 
אִם
but my servant
כְּעֶ֥בֶד
or deaf
וְחֵרֵ֖שׁ
as my messenger
כְּמַלְאָכִ֣י
that I sent
אֶשְׁלָ֑ח
 
מִ֤י
Who is blind
וְעִוֵּ֖ר
as he that is perfect
כִּמְשֻׁלָּ֔ם
Who is blind
וְעִוֵּ֖ר
but my servant
כְּעֶ֥בֶד
as the LORD'S
יְהוָֽה׃

Seeing
רָא֥יֹת
many things
רַבּ֖וֹת
 
וְלֹ֣א
but thou observest
תִשְׁמֹ֑ר
not opening
פָּק֥וֹחַ
the ears
אָזְנַ֖יִם
 
וְלֹ֥א
but he heareth
יִשְׁמָֽע׃

The LORD
יְהוָ֥ה
is well pleased
חָפֵ֖ץ
 
לְמַ֣עַן
for his righteousness
צִדְק֑וֹ
sake he will magnify
יַגְדִּ֥יל
the law
תּוֹרָ֖ה
and make it honourable
וְיַאְדִּֽיר׃
22
 
וְהוּא֮
But this is a people
עַם
robbed
בָּז֣וּז
and spoiled
וְשָׁסוּי֒
they are all of them snared
הָפֵ֤חַ
in holes
בַּֽחוּרִים֙
 
כֻּלָּ֔ם
houses
וּבְבָתֵּ֥י
in prison
כְלָאִ֖ים
and they are hid
הָחְבָּ֑אוּ
 
הָי֤וּ
they are for a prey
לָבַז֙
 
וְאֵ֣ין
and none delivereth
מַצִּ֔יל
for a spoil
מְשִׁסָּ֖ה
 
וְאֵין
and none saith
אֹמֵ֥ר
Restore
הָשַֽׁב׃

בָכֶ֖ם
Who among you will give ear
יַאֲזִ֣ין
 
זֹ֑את
to this who will hearken
יַקְשִׁ֥ב
and hear
וְיִשְׁמַ֖ע
for the time to come
לְאָחֽוֹר׃

מִֽי
Who gave
נָתַ֨ן
 
לִמְשִׁוסָּ֧ה
Jacob
יַעֲקֹ֛ב
and Israel
וְיִשְׂרָאֵ֥ל
to the robbers
לְבֹזְזִ֖ים
 
הֲל֣וֹא
did not the LORD
יְהוָ֑ה
he against whom
ז֚וּ
we have sinned
חָטָ֣אנוּ
 
ל֔וֹ
 
וְלֹֽא
for they would
אָב֤וּ
in his ways
בִדְרָכָיו֙
not walk
הָל֔וֹךְ
 
וְלֹ֥א
neither were they obedient
שָׁמְע֖וּ
unto his law
בְּתוֹרָתֽוֹ׃

Therefore he hath poured
וַיִּשְׁפֹּ֤ךְ
 
עָלָיו֙
upon him the fury
חֵמָ֣ה
of his anger
אַפּ֔וֹ
and the strength
וֶעֱז֖וּז
of battle
מִלְחָמָ֑ה
and it hath set him on fire
וַתְּלַהֲטֵ֤הוּ
round about
מִסָּבִיב֙
 
וְלֹ֣א
yet he knew
יָדָ֔ע
not and it burned
וַתִּבְעַר
 
בּ֖וֹ
 
וְלֹא
him yet he laid
יָשִׂ֥ים
 
עַל
it not to heart
לֵֽב׃
