out of all countries

הָאֲרָצ֔וֹת

 

אֲשֶׁר

whither I have driven

הִדַּ֥חְתִּי

שָׁ֑ם

them and will bring them again

וַהֲשִׁבֹתִ֥י

 

אֶתְהֶ֛ן

 

עַל

to their folds

נְוֵהֶ֖ן

and they shall be fruitful

וּפָר֥וּ

and increase

וְרָבֽוּ׃

And I will set up

וַהֲקִמֹתִ֧י

 

עֲלֵיהֶ֛ם

over them which shall feed

וְרָע֑וּם

לְדָוִ֖ד

a righteous

צַדִּ֑יק

shall reign

וּמָ֤לַךְ

and a King

מֶ֙לֶךְ֙

and prosper

וְהִשְׂכִּ֔יל

and shall execute

וְעָשָׂ֛ה

judgment

and justice

וּצְדָקָ֖ה

in the earth

בָּאָֽרֶץ׃

In his days

בְּיָמָיו֙

shall be saved

Wherefore their way

shall be unto them as slippery

כַּחֲלַקְלַקּוֹת֙

ways in the darkness

they shall be driven on

יִדַּ֖חוּ

and fall

וְנָ֣פְלוּ

therein for I will bring

they strengthen

וְחִזְּקוּ֙

also the hands

יְדֵ֣י

of evildoers

מְרֵעִ֔ים

 

לְבִ֨לְתִּי

doth return

שָׁ֔בוּ

that none

אִ֖ישׁ

from his wickedness

מֵרָֽעָת֑וֹ

 

הָֽיוּ

 

לִ֤י

 

כֻלָּם֙

they are all of them unto me as Sodom

כִּסְדֹ֔ם

and the inhabitants

וְיֹשְׁבֶ֖יהָ

thereof as Gomorrah

כַּעֲמֹרָֽה׃

Therefore thus saith

the LORD

יְהוָ֤ה

of hosts

צְבָאוֹת֙

 

עַל

concerning the prophets

נְבִיאֵ֣י

 

הִנְנִ֨י

Behold I will feed

מַאֲכִ֤יל

 

אוֹתָם֙

them with wormwood

לַֽעֲנָ֔ה

and make them drink

וְהִשְׁקִתִ֖ים

the water

מֵי

of gall

רֹ֑אשׁ

 

כִּ֗י

 

מֵאֵת֙

concerning the prophets

נְבִיאֵ֣י

of Jerusalem

gone forth

הִקְשִׁ֥יב

הִנֵּ֣ה׀

Behold a whirlwind

וְסַ֖עַר

of the LORD

יְהוָ֗ה

in fury

חֵמָה֙

is gone forth

יָֽצְאָ֔ה

Behold a whirlwind

וְסַ֖עַר

even a grievous

יָחֽוּל׃

 

עַ֛ל

upon the head

רֹ֥אשׁ

of the wicked

רְשָׁעִ֖ים

even a grievous

יָחֽוּל׃

 

לֹ֤א

shall not return

יָשׁוּב֙

The anger

of the LORD

until he have executed

and till he have performed

the thoughts

מְזִמּ֣וֹת

הַיָּמִ֔ים

ye shall consider

תִּתְבּ֥וֹנְנוּ

these prophets

הַנְּבִאִ֖ים

 

וְהֵ֣ם

yet they ran

רָ֑צוּ

I have not spoken

דִבַּ֥רְתִּי

 

אֲלֵיהֶ֖ם

to them yet they prophesied

נִבָּֽאוּ׃

But if they had stood

in my counsel
