אֶת

the day

י֣וֹם

of his coming

בּוֹא֔וֹ

 

וּמִ֥י

and who shall stand

הָעֹמֵ֖ד

when he appeareth

בְּהֵרָֽאוֹת֑וֹ

 

כִּֽי

 

הוּא֙

fire

כְּאֵ֣שׁ

for he is like a refiner's

מְצָרֵ֔ף

' soap

וּכְבֹרִ֖ית

and like fullers

מְכַבְּסִֽים׃

And he shall sit

וְיָשַׁ֨ב

as a refiner

מְצָרֵ֤ף

and he shall purify

וְטִהַ֤ר

and silver

וְכַכָּ֑סֶף

and he shall purify

וְטִהַ֤ר

 

אֶת

the sons

בְּנֵֽי

of Levi

לֵוִי֙

and purge

וְזִקַּ֣ק

 

אֹתָ֔ם

them as gold

כַּזָּהָ֖ב

and silver

וְכַכָּ֑סֶף

 

וְהָיוּ֙

unto the LORD

לַֽיהוָ֔ה

that they may offer

מַגִּישֵׁ֥י

an offering

מִנְחָ֖ה

in righteousness

בִּצְדָקָֽה׃

be pleasant

וְעָֽרְבָה֙

unto the LORD

לַֽיהוָ֔ה

Then shall the offering

מִנְחַ֥ת

of Judah

יְהוּדָ֖ה

and Jerusalem

וִירֽוּשָׁלִָ֑ם

as in the days

כִּימֵ֣י

of old

עוֹלָ֔ם

years

וּכְשָׁנִ֖ים

and as in former

קַדְמֹנִיּֽוֹת׃

And I will come near

וְקָרַבְתִּ֣י

 

אֲלֵיכֶם֮

to you to judgment

לַמִּשְׁפָּט֒

 

וְהָיִ֣יתִי׀

witness

עֵ֣ד

and I will be a swift

מְמַהֵ֗ר

against the sorcerers

בַּֽמְכַשְּׁפִים֙

and against the adulterers

וּבַמְנָ֣אֲפִ֔ים

swearers

וּבַנִּשְׁבָּעִ֖ים

and against false

לַשָּׁ֑קֶר

and against those that oppress

וּבְעֹשְׁקֵ֣י

in his wages

שְׂכַר

the hireling

שָׂ֠כִיר

the widow

אַלְמָנָ֨ה

and the fatherless

וְיָת֤וֹם

and that turn aside

וּמַטֵּי

the stranger

גֵר֙

 

וְלֹ֣א

from his right and fear

יְרֵא֔וּנִי

not me saith

אָמַ֖ר

the LORD

יְהוָ֥ה

of hosts

צְבָאֽוֹת׃

not therefore ye sons

בְּנֵֽי

of Jacob

כְלִיתֶֽם׃

Even from the days

לְמִימֵ֨י

of your fathers

אֲבֹתֵיכֶ֜ם

ye are gone away

סַרְתֶּ֤ם

from mine ordinances

מֵֽחֻקַּי֙

 

וְלֹ֣א

and have not kept

שְׁמַרְתֶּ֔ם

Wherein shall we return

and what profit

בֶּ֗צַע

is it that we have kept

שָׁמַ֙רְנוּ֙

his ordinance

מִשְׁמַרְתּ֔וֹ

and that we have walked

הָלַ֙כְנוּ֙

mournfully

קְדֹ֣רַנִּ֔ית

נִבְנוּ֙

עֹשֵׂ֣י

wickedness

בָּחֲנ֛וּ

אֱלֹהִ֖ים

are even delivered

וַיִּמָּלֵֽטוּ׃

them as a man

וְשַׁבְתֶּם֙

and discern

וּרְאִיתֶ֔ם

between the righteous

צַדִּ֖יק

and the wicked

לְרָשָׁ֑ע

 

בֵּ֚ין

and him that serveth

עֲבָדֽוֹ׃
