For if ye turn away

תְשׁוּבֻן֙

מֵֽאַחֲרָ֔יו

him he will yet again

וְיָסַ֣ף

 

ע֔וֹד

leave

לְהַנִּיח֖וֹ

them in the wilderness

בַּמִּדְבָּ֑ר

and ye shall destroy

וְשִֽׁחַתֶּ֖ם

 

לְכָל

all this people

הָעָ֥ם

 

הַזֶּֽה׃

And they came near

וַיִּגְּשׁ֤וּ

 

אֵלָיו֙

unto him and said

וַ֣יֹּאמְר֔וּ

We will build

נִבְנֶ֥ה

here for our cattle

לְמִקְנֵ֖נוּ

But we ourselves

וַֽאֲנַ֜חְנוּ

נֵֽחָלֵ֣ץ

will go ready

until we have brought

For we will not inherit

But if ye will not do so

תַֽעֲשׂוּן֙

 

כֵּ֔ן

 

הִנֵּ֥ה

behold ye have sinned

חֲטָאתֶ֖ם

against the LORD

לַֽיהוָ֑ה

and be sure

וּדְעוּ֙

your sin

חַטַּאתְכֶ֔ם

 

אֲשֶׁ֥ר

will find you out

תִּמְצָ֖א

 

אֶתְכֶֽם׃

Build

בְּנֽוּ

 

לָכֶ֤ם

you cities

עָרִים֙

for your little ones

לְטַפְּכֶ֔ם

and folds

וּגְדֵרֹ֖ת

for your sheep

לְצֹנַֽאֲכֶ֑ם

that which hath proceeded

וְהַיֹּצֵ֥א

out of your mouth

מִפִּיכֶ֖ם

and do

תַּֽעֲשֽׂוּ׃

saying

לֵאמֹ֑ר

And the children

וּבְנֵ֣י

Our little ones

our wives

and all our cattle

בְּהֶמְתֵּ֑נוּ

 

יִֽהְיוּ

shall be there in the cities

הַגִּלְעָֽד׃

וַֽעֲבָדֶ֨יךָ

will pass over

the LORD
