for the LORD

my cry

שַׁוְעָתִֽי׃

He brought me up

וַיַּעֲלֵ֤נִי׀

also out of an horrible

out of the miry

הַיָּ֫וֵ֥ן

and set

וַיָּ֖קֶם

 

עַל

upon a rock

סֶ֥לַע

my feet

רַגְלַ֗י

and established

כּוֹנֵ֥ן

my goings

אֲשֻׁרָֽי׃

And he hath put

וַיִּתֵּ֬ן

in my mouth

בְּפִ֨י׀

song

שִׁ֥יר

a new

חָדָשׁ֮

even praise

תְּהִלָּ֪ה

unto our God

לֵֽאלֹ֫הֵ֥ינוּ

shall see

יִרְא֣וּ

many

רַבִּ֣ים

it and fear

וְיִירָ֑אוּ

and shall trust

וְ֝יִבְטְח֗וּ

in the LORD

בַּיהוָֽה׃

Blessed

אַ֥שְֽׁרֵי

is that man

הַגֶּ֗בֶר

 

אֲשֶׁר

that maketh

שָׂ֣ם

the LORD

יְ֭הוָֹה

his trust

מִבְטַח֑וֹ

 

וְֽלֹא

and respecteth

פָנָ֥ה

 

אֶל

not the proud

רְ֝הָבִ֗ים

nor such as turn aside

וְשָׂטֵ֥י

to lies

כָזָֽב׃

Many

רַבּ֤וֹת

works which thou hast done

עָשִׂ֨יתָ׀

 

אַתָּ֤ה׀

O LORD

יְהוָ֣ה

my God

אֱלֹהַי֮

are thy wonderful

נִֽפְלְאֹתֶ֥יךָ

and thy thoughts

וּמַחְשְׁבֹתֶ֗יךָ

 

אֵ֫לֵ֥ינוּ

 

אֵ֤ין׀

which are to us-ward they cannot be reckoned up in order

עֲרֹ֬ךְ

 

אֵלֶ֗יךָ

unto thee if I would declare

אַגִּ֥ידָה

and speak

וַאֲדַבֵּ֑רָה

of them they are more

עָ֝צְמ֗וּ

than can be numbered

מִסַּפֵּֽר׃

Sacrifice

and offering

וּמִנְחָ֨ה׀

thou didst not desire

חָפַ֗צְתָּ

mine ears

אָ֭זְנַיִם

hast thou opened

כָּרִ֣יתָ

עוֹלָ֥ה

and sin offering

וַ֝חֲטָאָ֗ה

 

לֹ֣א

hast thou not required

שָׁאָֽלְתָּ׃

Then said

אָ֭מַרְתִּי

 

הִנֵּה

I Lo I come

בָ֑אתִי

in the volume

בִּמְגִלַּת

of the book

סֵ֝֗פֶר

it is written

כָּת֥וּב

 

עָלָֽי׃

to do

לַֽעֲשֽׂוֹת

thy will

רְצוֹנְךָ֣

O my God

אֱלֹהַ֣י

I delight

חָפָ֑צְתִּי

yea thy law

וְ֝ת֥וֹרָתְךָ֗

is within

בְּת֣וֹךְ

my heart

מֵעָֽי׃

I have preached

בִּשַּׂ֤רְתִּי

righteousness

צֶ֨דֶק׀

congregation

בְּקָ֘הָ֤ל

in the great

רָ֗ב

 

הִנֵּ֣ה

my lips

שְׂ֭פָתַי

 

לֹ֣א

lo I have not refrained

אֶכְלָ֑א

O LORD

יְ֝הוָ֗ה

 

אַתָּ֥ה

thou knowest

יָדָֽעְתָּ׃

thy righteousness

צִדְקָתְךָ֬

 

לֹא

I have not hid

כִסִּ֨יתִי׀

within

בְּת֬וֹךְ

my heart

לִבִּ֗י

thy faithfulness

אֱמוּנָתְךָ֣

and thy salvation

וּתְשׁוּעָתְךָ֣

I have declared

אָמָ֑רְתִּי

 

לֹא

I have not concealed

כִחַ֥דְתִּי

thy lovingkindness

חַסְדְּךָ֥

and thy truth

וַ֝אֲמִתְּךָ֗

congregation

לְקָהָ֥ל

from the great

רָֽב׃

 

אַתָּ֤ה

from me O LORD

יְהוָ֗ה

 

לֹא

Withhold

תִכְלָ֣א

not thou thy tender mercies

רַחֲמֶ֣יךָ

 

מִמֶּ֑נִּי

let thy lovingkindness

חַסְדְּךָ֥

and thy truth

וַ֝אֲמִתְּךָ֗

continually

תָּמִ֥יד

preserve

יִצְּרֽוּנִי׃

 

כִּ֤י

have compassed

אָפְפ֥וּ

 

עָלַ֨י׀

evils

רָע֡וֹת

 

עַד

 

אֵ֬ין

For innumerable

מִסְפָּ֗ר

have taken hold

הִשִּׂיג֣וּנִי

me about mine iniquities

עֲ֭וֺנֹתַי

 

וְלֹא

upon me so that I am not able

יָכֹ֣לְתִּי

to look up

לִרְא֑וֹת

they are more

עָצְמ֥וּ

than the hairs

מִשַּֽׂעֲר֥וֹת

of mine head

רֹ֝אשִׁ֗י

therefore my heart

וְלִבִּ֥י

faileth

עֲזָבָֽנִי׃

Be pleased

רְצֵ֣ה

O LORD

יְ֝הוָ֗ה

to deliver

לְהַצִּילֵ֑נִי

O LORD

יְ֝הוָ֗ה

to help

לְעֶזְרָ֥תִי

make haste

חֽוּשָׁה׃

Let them be ashamed

יֵ֘בֹ֤שׁוּ

and confounded

וְיַחְפְּר֨וּ׀

together

יַחַד֮

that seek

מְבַקְשֵׁ֥י

after my soul

נַפְשִׁ֗י

to destroy

לִסְפּ֫וֹתָ֥הּ

it let them be driven

יִסֹּ֣גוּ

backward

אָ֭חוֹר

and put to shame

וְיִכָּלְמ֑וּ

that wish

חֲ֝פֵצֵ֗י

me evil

רָעָתִֽי׃

Let them be desolate

יָ֭שֹׁמּוּ

 

עַל

for a reward

עֵ֣קֶב

of their shame

בָּשְׁתָּ֑ם

that say

הָאֹמְרִ֥ים

 

לִ֝֗י

הֶאָֽח׃

thee rejoice

יָ֘שִׂ֤ישׂוּ

and be glad

תָ֭מִיד

be magnified

The LORD

יְהוָ֑ה

in thee let such as love

thy salvation

תְּשׁוּעָתֶֽךָ׃

 

וַאֲנִ֤י׀

But I am poor

עָנִ֣י

and needy

וְאֶבְיוֹן֮

yet the Lord

אֲדֹנָ֪י

thinketh

יַחֲשָׁ֫ב

 

לִ֥י

upon me thou art my help

עֶזְרָתִ֣י

and my deliverer

וּמְפַלְטִ֣י

 

אַ֑תָּה

O my God

אֱ֝לֹהַ֗י

 

אַל

make no tarrying

תְּאַחַֽר׃
