יְדַעְתִּ֣יךָֽ

thee by name

בְשֵׁ֔ם

and thou hast also found

in my sight

נָא֩

Now therefore I pray thee if I have found

אֶמְצָא

grace

חֵ֖ן

in thy sight

בְּעֵינֶ֑יךָ

shew

וְאֵדָ֣עֲךָ֔

me now thy way

דְּרָכֶ֔ךָ

shew

וְאֵדָ֣עֲךָ֔

 

לְמַ֥עַן

Now therefore I pray thee if I have found

אֶמְצָא

grace

חֵ֖ן

in thy sight

בְּעֵינֶ֑יךָ

and consider

וּרְאֵ֕ה

 

כִּ֥י

is thy people

עַמְּךָ֖

that this nation

הַגּ֥וֹי

 

הַזֶּֽה׃

And he said

וַיֹּאמַ֑ר

My presence

פָּנַ֥י

 

יֵלֵ֖כוּ

with thee and I will give thee rest

וַֽהֲנִחֹ֥תִי

 

לָֽךְ׃

And he said

וַיֹּ֖אמֶר

 

אֵלָ֑יו

 

אִם

 

אֵ֤ין

unto him If thy presence

פָּנֶ֙יךָ֙

go

הֹֽלְכִ֔ים

 

אַֽל

not with me carry us not up

תַּעֲלֵ֖נוּ

 

מִזֶּֽה׃

 

וּבַמֶּ֣ה׀

For wherein shall it be known

יִוָּדַ֣ע

מָצָ֨אתִי

grace

חֵ֤ן

in thy sight

בְּלֶכְתְּךָ֣

with us so shall we be separated

וְנִפְלֵ֙ינוּ֙

בְּעֵינַ֔י

and I know

וָאֵדָֽעֲךָ֖

thee by name

בְּשֵֽׁם׃

And he said

וַיֹּאמַ֑ר

shew

הַרְאֵ֥נִי

I beseech thee

נָ֖א

 

אֶת

me thy glory

כְּבֹדֶֽךָ׃

And he said

וַיֹּ֗אמֶר

 

אֲנִ֨י

pass

אַֽעֲבִ֤יר

 

כָּל

I will make all my goodness

טוּבִי֙

 

עַל

before

לְפָנֶ֑יךָ

before thee and I will proclaim

וְקָרָ֧אתִֽי

the name

בְשֵׁ֛ם

of the LORD

יְהוָ֖ה

לְפָנֶ֑יךָ

thee and will be gracious

אָחֹ֔ן

for there shall no man

הִנֵּ֥ה

Behold there is a place

מָק֖וֹם

 

אִתִּ֑י

by me and thou shalt stand

וְנִצַּבְתָּ֖

 

עַל

upon a rock

הַצּֽוּר׃

 

וְהָיָה֙

I pass by

עָבְרִֽי׃

And it shall come to pass while my glory

כְּבֹדִ֔י

that I will put

וְשַׂמְתִּ֖יךָ

thee in a clift

בְּנִקְרַ֣ת

of the rock

הַצּ֑וּר

and will cover

וְשַׂכֹּתִ֥י

thee with my hand

כַפִּ֛י

 

עָלֶ֖יךָ

while

עַד

I pass by

עָבְרִֽי׃

And I will take

וַהֲסִֽרֹתִי֙

 

אֶת

away mine hand

כַּפִּ֔י

and thou shalt see

יֵֽרָאֽוּ׃

 

אֶת

my back parts

אֲחֹרָ֑י

but my face

וּפָנַ֖י

 

לֹ֥א

and thou shalt see
