Now the man

וְהָאִ֥ישׁ

Moses

מֹשֶׁ֖ה

meek

עָנָ֣ו

was very

מְאֹ֑ד

 

מִכֹּל֙

above all the men

הָֽאָדָ֔ם

 

אֲשֶׁ֖ר

 

עַל

which were upon the face

פְּנֵ֥י

of the earth

הָֽאֲדָמָֽה׃

spake

וַיֹּ֨אמֶר

And the LORD

יְהוָ֜ה

suddenly

פִּתְאֹ֗ם

 

אֶל

unto Moses

מֹשֶׁ֤ה

 

וְאֶֽל

and unto Aaron

אַהֲרֹן֙

 

וְאֶל

and unto Miriam

מִרְיָ֔ם

Come out

וַיֵּֽצְא֖וּ

And they three

שְׁלָשְׁתָּֽם׃

 

אֶל

unto the tabernacle

אֹ֣הֶל

of the congregation

מוֹעֵ֑ד

Come out

וַיֵּֽצְא֖וּ

And they three

שְׁלָשְׁתָּֽם׃

came down

וַיֵּ֤רֶד

And the LORD

יְהוָה֙

in the pillar

בְּעַמּ֣וּד

of the cloud

עָנָ֔ן

and stood

וַֽיַּעֲמֹ֖ד

in the door

פֶּ֣תַח

of the tabernacle

הָאֹ֑הֶל

and called

וַיִּקְרָא֙

Aaron

אַֽהֲרֹ֣ן

and Miriam

וּמִרְיָ֔ם

came forth

וַיֵּֽצְא֖וּ

and they both

שְׁנֵיהֶֽם׃

And he said

וַיֹּ֖אמֶר

Hear

שִׁמְעוּ

 

נָ֣א

now my words

דְבָרָ֑י

 

אִם

 

יִֽהְיֶה֙

If there be a prophet

נְבִ֣יאֲכֶ֔ם

among you I the LORD

יְהוָ֗ה

unto him in a vision

בַּמַּרְאָה֙

 

אֵלָ֣יו

will make myself known

אֶתְוַדָּ֔ע

unto him in a dream

בַּֽחֲל֖וֹם

and will speak

אֲדַבֶּר

 

בּֽוֹ׃

 

לֹא

 

כֵ֖ן

My servant

עַבְדִּ֣י

Moses

מֹשֶׁ֑ה

 

בְּכָל

in all mine house

בֵּיתִ֖י

is not so who is faithful

נֶֽאֱמָ֥ן

 

הֽוּא׃

פֶּ֞ה

 

אֶל

With him will I speak

לְדַבֵּ֖ר

 

בּ֗וֹ

even apparently

וּמַרְאֶה֙

 

וְלֹ֣א

and not in dark speeches

בְחִידֹ֔ת

and the similitude

וּתְמֻנַ֥ת

of the LORD

יְהוָ֖ה

shall he behold

יַבִּ֑יט

 

וּמַדּ֙וּעַ֙

 

לֹ֣א

wherefore then were ye not afraid

יְרֵאתֶ֔ם

With him will I speak

לְדַבֵּ֖ר

against my servant

בְּעַבְדִּ֥י

Moses

בְמֹשֶֽׁה׃

was kindled

וַיִּֽחַר

And the anger

אַ֧ף

of the LORD

יְהוָ֛ה

 

בָּ֖ם

 

וַיֵּלַֽךְ׃

And the cloud

וְהֶֽעָנָ֗ן

departed

סָ֚ר

 

מֵעַ֣ל

from off the tabernacle

הָאֹ֔הֶל

 

וְהִנֵּ֥ה

and behold Miriam

מִרְיָ֖ם

and behold she was leprous

מְצֹרָֽעַת׃

white as snow

כַּשָּׁ֑לֶג

looked

וַיִּ֧פֶן

and Aaron

אַֽהֲרֹ֛ן

 

אֶל

and behold Miriam

מִרְיָ֖ם

 

וְהִנֵּ֥ה

and behold she was leprous

מְצֹרָֽעַת׃

said

וַיֹּ֥אמֶר

And Aaron

אַֽהֲרֹ֖ן

 

אֶל

unto Moses

מֹשֶׁ֑ה

Alas

בִּ֣י

my lord

אֲדֹנִ֔י

 

אַל

 

נָ֨א

I beseech thee lay

תָשֵׁ֤ת

 

עָלֵ֙ינוּ֙

not the sin

חַטָּ֔את

 

אֲשֶׁ֥ר

upon us wherein we have done foolishly

נוֹאַ֖לְנוּ

 

וַֽאֲשֶׁ֥ר

and wherein we have sinned

חָטָֽאנוּ׃

 

אַל

Let her not be as one dead

נָ֥א

 

תְהִ֖י

 

כַּמֵּ֑ת

 

אֲשֶׁ֤ר

when he cometh out

בְּצֵאתוֹ֙

womb

מֵרֶ֣חֶם

of his mother's

אִמּ֔וֹ

consumed

וַיֵּֽאָכֵ֖ל

is half

חֲצִ֥י

of whom the flesh

בְשָׂרֽוֹ׃

cried

וַיִּצְעַ֣ק

And Moses

מֹשֶׁ֔ה

 

אֶל

unto the LORD

יְהוָ֖ה

saying

לֵאמֹ֑ר

her now O God

אֵ֕ל

 

נָ֛א

Heal

רְפָ֥א

 

נָ֖א

 

לָֽהּ׃

said

וַיֹּ֨אמֶר

And the LORD

יְהוָ֜ה

 

אֶל

unto Moses

מֹשֶׁ֗ה

If her father

וְאָבִ֙יהָ֙

had but

יָרַק֙

had but

יָרַק֙

in her face

בְּפָנֶ֔יהָ

 

הֲלֹ֥א

should she not be ashamed

תִכָּלֵ֖ם

seven

שִׁבְעַ֤ת

days

יָמִים֙

let her be shut

תִּסָּגֵ֞ר

מִח֣וּץ

from the camp

לַֽמַּחֲנֶ֔ה

that let her be received

And Miriam

מֵֽחֲצֵר֑וֹת

and pitched

וַֽיַּחֲנ֖וּ

in the wilderness

בְּמִדְבַּ֥ר

of Paran
