unto him Behold the day

אֵלֶ֗יךָ

אָֽנֹכִ֜י

unto thee Behold I will deliver

thine enemy

אֹֽיִבְיךָ֙

into thine hand

בְּיָדֶ֔ךָ

that thou mayest do

וְעָשִׂ֣יתָ

And it came to pass afterward

And he said

unto his men

לַֽאֲנָשָׁ֜יו

The LORD

that I should do

אֶֽעֱשֶׂה֩

unto my master

אַֽחֲרָ֔יו

stooped

וַיִּקֹּ֨ד

David

דָּוִ֥ד

with his face

אַפַּ֛יִם

to the earth

אַ֖רְצָה

and bowed

וַיִּשְׁתָּֽחוּ׃

said

לֵאמֹ֑ר

Wherefore hearest

וַיִּשָּׂ֥א

and wept

וַיֵּֽבְךְּ׃

And he said

וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙

to David

דָּוִ֔ד

Thou art more righteous

צַדִּ֥יק

 

אַתָּ֖ה

 

מִמֶּ֑נִּי

 

כִּ֤י

 

אַתָּה֙

than I for thou hast rewarded

גְּמַלְתִּ֥יךָ

me good

הַטּוֹבָ֔ה

 

וַֽאֲנִ֖י

than I for thou hast rewarded

גְּמַלְתִּ֥יךָ

thee evil

הָֽרָעָֽה׃

 

וְאַתָּ

And thou hast shewed

הִגַּ֣דְתָּ

this day

הַיּ֔וֹם

how that thou hast dealt

wherefore the LORD

for that thou hast done

הִנֵּ֣ה

And now behold I know well

יָדַ֔עְתִּי

 

כִּ֥י

תִּמְל֑וֹךְ

וְקָ֙מָה֙

me and that thou wilt not destroy
