and dressed

וַֽיַּעֲשֶׂ֔הָ

for the wayfaring man

לָֽאֹרֵ֖חַ

And there came

כִּבְשַׂת֙

it for the man

and he said

As the LORD

יְהוָ֕ה

this thing shall surely

בֶן

die

מָ֔וֶת

against the man

הָאִ֖ישׁ

that hath done

הָֽעֹשֶׂ֥ה

 

זֹֽאת׃

 

וְאֶת

the lamb

הַכִּבְשָׂ֖ה

And he shall restore

יְשַׁלֵּ֣ם

fourfold

אַרְבַּעְתָּ֑יִם

because

עֵ֗קֶב

and because

אֲשֶׁ֥ר

he did

עָשָׂה֙

 

אֶת

this thing

הַדָּבָ֣ר

 

הַזֶּ֔ה

 

וְעַ֖ל

and because

אֲשֶׁ֥ר

 

לֹֽא

he had no pity
