and the damsel's

And he said

עֹנֶ֑ה

her up upon an ass

Then the man

וַיֵּ֖לֶךְ

him unto his place

לִמְקֹמֽוֹ׃

And when he was come

וַיָּבֹ֣א

into his house

בֵּית֗וֹ

he took

וַיִּקַּ֤ח

a knife

הַֽמַּאֲכֶ֙לֶת֙

and laid hold

וַיַּֽחֲזֵ֣ק

on his concubine

בְּפִֽילַגְשׁ֔וֹ

and divided

וַֽיְנַתְּחֶ֙הָ֙

her together with her bones

לַֽעֲצָמֶ֔יהָ

into twelve

לִשְׁנֵ֥ים

 

עָשָׂ֖ר

pieces

נְתָחִ֑ים

and sent

וַֽיְשַׁלְּחֶ֔הָ

her into all the coasts

And it was so

נִרְאֲתָה֙
