unto me wherewith the LORD

From above

מִמָּר֛וֹם

into my bones

כָל

I pray you all people

עַמִּ֗ים

and behold

וּרְאוּ֙

my sorrow

מַכְאֹבִ֔י

my virgins

בְּתוּלֹתַ֥י

and my young men

וּבַחוּרַ֖י

are gone

הָלְכ֥וּ

into captivity

בַשֶּֽׁבִי׃

I called

קָרָ֤אתִי

for my lovers

לַֽמְאַהֲבַי֙

 

הֵ֣מָּה

but they deceived

רִמּ֔וּנִי

me my priests

כֹּהֲנַ֥י

and mine elders

וּזְקֵנַ֖י

in the city

בָּעִ֣יר

gave up the ghost

גָּוָ֑עוּ

 

כִּֽי

while they sought

בִקְשׁ֥וּ

their meat

אֹ֙כֶל֙

 

לָ֔מוֹ

to relieve

וְיָשִׁ֖יבוּ

 

אֶת

their souls

נַפְשָֽׁם׃

Behold

רְאֵ֨ה

O LORD

my bowels

are troubled

חֳמַרְמָ֔רוּ

is turned

נֶהְפַּ֤ךְ

mine heart
