All things come alike to all there is one

to the righteous

לַצַּדִּ֤יק

and to the wicked

וְלָרָשָׁע֙

and to the clean

וְלַטָּה֣וֹר

and to the unclean

וְלַטָּמֵ֔א

sacrificeth

זֹבֵ֑חַ

and to him that

כַּאֲשֶׁ֖ר

 

אֵינֶ֣נּוּ

sacrificeth

זֹבֵ֑חַ

not as is the good

כַּטּוֹב֙

so is the sinner

כַּֽחֹטֶ֔א

and he that sweareth

הַנִּשְׁבָּ֕ע

and to him that

כַּאֲשֶׁ֖ר

an oath

שְׁבוּעָ֥ה

 

יָרֵֽא׃

 

זֶ֣ה׀

This is an evil

רָ֨ע

 

בְּכֹ֤ל

 

אֲשֶֽׁר

among all things that are done

נַעֲשָׂה֙

under the sun

הַשֶּׁ֔מֶשׁ

מִקְרֶ֥ה

that there is one

לַכֹּ֑ל

 

וְגַ֣ם

unto all yea also the heart

לֵ֣ב

of the sons

בְּֽנֵי

of men

הָ֠אָדָם

is full

מָלֵא

This is an evil

רָ֨ע

and madness

וְהוֹלֵל֤וֹת

is in their heart

בִּלְבָבָם֙

while they live

בְּחַיֵּיהֶ֔ם

and after

וְאַחֲרָ֖יו

 

אֶל

that they go to the dead

הַמֵּתִֽים׃

is not to the swift

לַקַּלִּ֨ים

that the race

הַמֵּר֜וֹץ

 

וְלֹ֧א

to the strong

לַגִּבּוֹרִ֣ים

nor the battle

הַמִּלְחָמָ֗ה

 

וְ֠גַם

 

לֹ֣א

to the wise

לַחֲכָמִ֥ים

neither yet bread

לֶ֙חֶם֙

 

וְגַ֨ם

 

לֹ֤א

to men of understanding

לַנְּבֹנִים֙

nor yet riches

עֹ֔שֶׁר

 

וְגַ֛ם

to men of skill

לַיֹּדְעִ֖ים

and he by his wisdom

וְאָמַ֣רְתִּי

נִשְׁמָעִֽים׃

חֲכָמִ֔ים

בְּנַ֖חַת

men are heard

נִשְׁמָעִ֑ים

more than the cry

מִזַּעֲקַ֥ת

of him that ruleth

מוֹשֵׁ֖ל

among fools

בַּכְּסִילִֽים׃

good

טוֹבָ֥ה

Wisdom

חָכְמָ֖ה

than weapons

מִכְּלֵ֣י

קְרָ֑ב

sinner

וְחוֹטֶ֣א

destroyeth
