and from his loins

וּמִמָּתְנָ֣יו

The LORD

יְהוָ֖ה

hath forsaken

with their backs

אֲחֹ֨רֵיהֶ֜ם

and their faces

וּפְנֵיהֶ֣ם

and they worshipped

Then he said

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר

 

אֵלַי֮

unto me Hast thou seen

הֲרָאִ֣יתָ

this O son

בֶן

of man

אָדָם֒

Is it a light thing

הֲנָקֵל֙

to the house

לְבֵ֣ית

of Judah

יְהוּדָ֔ה

that they commit

עָֽשׂוּ

 

אֶת

the abominations

הַתּוֹעֵב֖וֹת

 

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

that they commit

עָֽשׂוּ

 

פֹ֑ה

 

כִּֽי

here for they have filled

מָלְא֨וּ

 

אֶת

the land

הָאָ֜רֶץ

with violence

חָמָ֗ס

and have returned

וַיָּשֻׁ֙בוּ֙

to provoke me to anger

לְהַכְעִיסֵ֔נִי

 

וְהִנָּ֛ם

and lo they put

שֹׁלְחִ֥ים

 

אֶת

the branch

הַזְּמוֹרָ֖ה

to their nose

אֲנִי֙

Therefore will I also deal

אֶעֱשֶׂ֣ה

in fury

בְחֵמָ֔ה

 

לֹֽא

shall not spare

תָח֥וֹס

mine eye

עֵינִ֖י

 

וְלֹ֣א

neither will I have pity

אֶחְמֹ֑ל

and though they cry

וְקָרְא֤וּ

in mine ears

בְאָזְנַי֙

voice

ק֣וֹל

with a loud

גָּד֔וֹל

 

וְלֹ֥א

yet will I not hear

אֶשְׁמַ֖ע

 

אוֹתָֽם׃
