And the woman

וַֽתִּצְפְּנ֑וֹ

But she had brought them up

that the LORD

יְהוָ֛ה

 

לָכֶ֖ם

of the land

הָאָ֖רֶץ

 

וְכִֽי

is fallen

נָפְלָ֤ה

and that your terror

אֵֽימַתְכֶם֙

 

עָלֵ֔ינוּ

 

וְכִ֥י

faint

נָמֹ֛גוּ

 

כָּל

upon us and that all the inhabitants

יֹֽשְׁבֵ֥י

of the land

הָאָ֖רֶץ

because

מִפְּנֵיכֶֽם׃

For we have heard

And she said

וַתֹּ֤אמֶר

 

לָהֶם֙

you to the mountain

הָהָ֣רָה

יִפְגְּע֥וּ

 

בָכֶ֖ם

lest the pursuers

הָרֹֽדְפִ֔ים

you and hide

וְנַחְבֵּתֶ֨ם

yourselves there three

his blood

דָּמ֣וֹ

shall be on our head

בְרֹאשֵׁ֔נוּ

 

וַֽאֲנַ֣חְנוּ

and we will be guiltless

נְקִיִּ֑ם

 

וְ֠כֹל

And it shall be that whosoever

אֲשֶׁ֨ר

 

יִֽהְיֶ֤ה

 

אִתָּךְ֙

and whosoever shall be with thee in the house

בַּבַּ֔יִת

his blood

דָּמ֣וֹ

shall be on our head

בְרֹאשֵׁ֔נוּ

 

אִם

if any hand

יָ֖ד

 

תִּֽהְיֶה

 

בּֽוֹ׃

 

וְאִם

And if thou utter

תַּגִּ֖ידִי

 

אֶת

this our business

דְּבָרֵ֣נוּ

 

זֶ֑ה

 

וְהָיִ֣ינוּ

then we will be quit

נְקִיִּ֔ם

of thine oath

מִשְּׁבֻֽעָתֵ֖ךְ

which thou hast made us to swear

And she said

וַתֹּ֙אמֶר֙

Truly

the LORD

יְהוָ֛ה

into our hands

בְּיָדֵ֖נוּ
