unto the place

that they may not pass over

יְ֝שֻׁב֗וּן

to cover

לְכַסּ֥וֹת

the earth

הָאָֽרֶץ׃

He sendeth

הַֽמְשַׁלֵּ֣חַ

the springs

מַ֭עְיָנִים

into the valleys

בַּנְּחָלִ֑ים

 

בֵּ֥ין

among the hills

הָ֝רִ֗ים

which run

יְהַלֵּכֽוּן׃

They give drink

יַ֭שְׁקוּ

 

כָּל

to every beast

חַיְת֣וֹ

of the field

שָׂדָ֑י

quench

יִשְׁבְּר֖וּ

the wild asses

פְרָאִ֣ים

their thirst

צְמָאָֽם׃

 

עֲ֭לֵיהֶם

By them shall the fowls

עוֹף

of the heaven

הַשָּׁמַ֣יִם

have their habitation

יִשְׁכּ֑וֹן

among

מִבֵּ֥ין

the branches

עֳ֝פָאיִ֗ם

which sing

יִתְּנוּ

 

קֽוֹל׃

He watereth

מַשְׁקֶ֣ה

the hills

הָ֭רִים

from his chambers

מֵעֲלִיּוֹתָ֑יו

with the fruit

מִפְּרִ֥י

of thy works

מַ֝עֲשֶׂ֗יךָ

is satisfied

תִּשְׂבַּ֥ע

the earth

הָאָֽרֶץ׃

to grow

מַצְמִ֤יחַ

He causeth the grass

חָצִ֨יר׀

for the cattle

לַבְּהֵמָ֗ה

and herb

וְ֭עֵשֶׂב

for the service

לַעֲבֹדַ֣ת

of man

הָאָדָ֑ם

that he may bring forth

לְה֥וֹצִיא

food

לֶ֝֗חֶם

 

מִן

out of the earth

הָאָֽרֶץ׃

And wine

וְיַ֤יִן׀

that maketh glad

יְשַׂמַּ֬ח

לְֽבַב

עֲצֵ֣י

of the LORD

of sap the cedars

of Lebanon

לְ֝בָנ֗וֹן

which he hath planted

נָטָֽע׃

 

אֲשֶׁר

 

שָׁ֭ם

Where the birds

צִפֳּרִ֣ים

make their nests

יְקַנֵּ֑נוּ

as for the stork

חֲ֝סִידָ֗ה

the fir trees

בְּרוֹשִׁ֥ים

are her house

בֵּיתָֽהּ׃

hills

הָרִ֣ים

The high

הַ֭גְּבֹהִים

for the wild goats

לַיְּעֵלִ֑ים

and the rocks

סְ֝לָעִ֗ים

are a refuge

מַחְסֶ֥ה

for the conies

לַֽשְׁפַנִּֽים׃

He appointed

עָשָׂ֣ה

the moon

יָ֭רֵחַ

for seasons

לְמוֹעֲדִ֑ים

the sun

שֶׁ֝֗מֶשׁ

knoweth

יָדַ֥ע

his going down

מְבוֹאֽוֹ׃

Thou makest

תָּֽשֶׁת

darkness

חֹ֭שֶׁךְ

 

וִ֣יהִי

and it is night

לָ֑יְלָה

 

בּֽוֹ

do creep

תִ֝רְמֹ֗שׂ

 

כָּל

wherein all the beasts

חַיְתוֹ

of the forest

יָֽעַר׃

The young lions

הַ֭כְּפִירִים

roar

שֹׁאֲגִ֣ים

after their prey

לַטָּ֑רֶף

and seek

וּלְבַקֵּ֖שׁ

from God

מֵאֵ֣ל

their meat

אָכְלָֽם׃

ariseth

תִּזְרַ֣ח

The sun

הַ֭שֶּׁמֶשׁ

they gather themselves together

יֵאָסֵפ֑וּן

 

וְאֶל

in their dens

מְ֝עוֹנֹתָ֗ם

and lay them down

יִרְבָּצֽוּן׃

goeth forth

יֵצֵ֣א

Man

אָדָ֣ם

unto his work

לְפָעֳל֑וֹ

and to his labour

וְֽלַעֲבֹ֖דָת֣וֹ

מָלְאָ֥ה

them all the earth

הָ֝אָ֗רֶץ

of thy riches

קִנְיָנֶֽךָ׃

sea

הַיָּ֥ם

So is this great

גְּדֹלֽוֹת׃

and wide

וּרְחַ֪ב

 

יָ֫דָ֥יִם

 

שָֽׁם

wherein are things creeping

רֶ֭מֶשׂ

 

וְאֵ֣ין

innumerable

מִסְפָּ֑ר

beasts

חַיּ֥וֹת

both small

קְ֝טַנּ֗וֹת

 

עִם

So is this great

גְּדֹלֽוֹת׃

 

שָׁ֭ם

the ships

אֳנִיּ֣וֹת

There go

יְהַלֵּכ֑וּן

there is that leviathan

לִ֝וְיָתָ֗ן

 

זֶֽה

whom thou hast made

יָצַ֥רְתָּ

to play

לְשַֽׂחֶק

 

בּֽוֹ׃

 

כֻּ֭לָּם

 

אֵלֶ֣יךָ

These wait

יְשַׂבֵּר֑וּן

all upon thee that thou mayest give

לָתֵ֖ת

them their meat

אָכְלָ֣ם

in due season

בְּעִתּֽוֹ׃

That thou givest

תִּתֵּ֣ן

 

לָ֭הֶם

them they gather

יִלְקֹט֑וּן

thou openest

תִּפְתַּ֥ח

thine hand

יָֽ֝דְךָ֗

they are filled

יִשְׂבְּע֥וּן

with good

טֽוֹב׃

Thou hidest

תַּסְתִּ֥יר

thy face

פָּנֶיךָ֮

they are troubled

יִֽבָּהֵ֫ל֥וּן

thou takest away

תֹּסֵ֣ף

their breath

ר֭וּחָם

they die

יִגְוָע֑וּן

 

וְֽאֶל

to their dust

עֲפָרָ֥ם

and return

יְשׁוּבֽוּן׃

Thou sendest

תְּשַׁלַּ֣ח

forth thy spirit

ר֭וּחֲךָ

they are created

יִבָּרֵא֑וּן

and thou renewest

וּ֝תְחַדֵּ֗שׁ

the face

פְּנֵ֣י

of the earth

אֲדָמָֽה׃

 

יְהִ֤י

The glory

כְב֣וֹד

of the LORD

יְהוָ֣ה

shall endure for ever

לְעוֹלָ֑ם

shall rejoice

יִשְׂמַ֖ח

of the LORD

יְהוָ֣ה

in his works

בְּמַעֲשָֽׂיו׃

He looketh

הַמַּבִּ֣יט

on the earth

לָ֭אָרֶץ

and it trembleth

וַתִּרְעָ֑ד

he toucheth

יִגַּ֖ע

the hills

בֶּהָרִ֣ים

and they smoke

וְֽיֶעֱשָֽׁנוּ׃

I will sing

אָשִׁ֣ירָה

unto the LORD

לַיהוָ֣ה

as long as I live

בְּחַיָּ֑י

I will sing

אֲזַמְּרָ֖ה

praise to my God

לֵאלֹהַ֣י

while I have my being

בְּעוֹדִֽי׃

of him shall be sweet

יֶעֱרַ֣ב

 

עָלָ֣יו

My meditation

אָ֝נֹכִ֗י

I will be glad

אֶשְׂמַ֥ח

in the LORD

בַּיהוָֽה׃

be consumed

יִתַּ֤מּוּ

Let the sinners

חַטָּאִ֨ים׀

out of the earth

הָאָ֡רֶץ

and let the wicked

וּרְשָׁעִ֤ים׀
