Forasmuch as this is done of thee and thou hast not kept

and my statutes

אֲשֶׁ֥ר

which I have commanded

צִוִּ֖יתִי

עִמָּ֗ךְ

as I built

בָּנִ֣יתִי

 

לְךָ֤

house

בַיִת

thee a sure

נֶֽאֱמָן֙

 

כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֣ר

as I built

בָּנִ֣יתִי

as David

לְדָוִ֔ד

and will give

וְנָֽתַתִּ֥י

 

לְךָ֖

 

אֶת

Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

And I will for this afflict

וַֽאעַנֶּ֛ה

 

אֶת

the seed

זֶ֥רַע

of David

דָּוִ֖ד

 

לְמַ֣עַן

 

זֹ֑את

 

אַ֖ךְ

 

לֹ֥א

 

כָל

but not for ever

הַיָּמִֽים׃

וַיְבַקֵּ֥שׁ

Solomon

שְׁלֹמֹֽה׃

therefore to kill

לְהָמִ֣ית

וַיָּ֣קָם

וַיִּבְרַ֤ח

בְמִצְרַ֖יִם

 

אֶל

unto Shishak

שִׁישַׁ֣ק

מֶֽלֶךְ

and was in Egypt

בְמִצְרַ֖יִם

 

וַיְהִ֥י

and was in Egypt

בְמִצְרַ֖יִם

 

עַד

until the death

מ֥וֹת

Solomon

שְׁלֹמֹֽה׃

And the rest

וְיֶ֨תֶר

of the acts

דִּבְרֵ֥י

אֲשֶׁ֥ר

and all that he did

וְהַיָּמִ֗ים

in Jerusalem

בִירֽוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙

 

עַל

 

כָּל

over all Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל

was forty

אַרְבָּעִ֖ים

years

שָׁנָֽה׃

slept

וַיִּשְׁכַּ֤ב

And Solomon

שְׁלֹמֹה֙

 

עִם

his father

אָבִ֑יו

and was buried

וַיִּ֨קָּבֵ֔ר

in the city

בְּעִ֖יר

of David

דָּוִ֣ד

his father

אָבִ֑יו

reigned

וַיִּמְלֹ֛ךְ

and Rehoboam

רְחַבְעָ֥ם

his son

בְּנ֖וֹ

 

תַּחְתָּֽיו׃
