unto the word

you neither shall ye diminish

תִגְרְע֖וּ

ought from it that ye may keep

Your eyes

עֵֽינֵיכֶם֙

have seen

הָֽרֹא֔וֹת

עָשָׂ֥ה

the LORD

הַדְּבֵקִ֔ים

unto the LORD

are alive

every one of you this day

הַיּֽוֹם׃

Behold

רְאֵ֣ה׀

I have taught

לִמַּ֣דְתִּי

 

אֶתְכֶ֗ם

you statutes

חֻקִּים֙

and judgments

וּמִשְׁפָּטִ֔ים

even as

אֲשֶׁ֥ר

commanded

צִוַּ֖נִי

the LORD

יְהוָ֣ה

my God

אֱלֹהָ֑י

me that ye should do

לַֽעֲשׂ֣וֹת

 

כֵּ֔ן

so in

בְּקֶ֣רֶב

the land

הָאָ֔רֶץ

even as

אֲשֶׁ֥ר

 

אַתֶּ֛ם

whither ye go

בָּאִ֥ים

 

שָׁ֖מָּה

to possess

לְרִשְׁתָּֽהּ׃

Keep

וּשְׁמַרְתֶּם֮

therefore and do

וַֽעֲשִׂיתֶם֒

 

כִּ֣י

 

הִ֤וא

them for this is your wisdom

חָכְמַתְכֶם֙

and your understanding

וּבִ֣ינַתְכֶ֔ם

in the sight

לְעֵינֵ֖י

of the nations

עַם

 

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

which shall hear

יִשְׁמְע֗וּן

 

אֵ֚ת

 

כָּל

all these statutes

הַֽחֻקִּ֣ים

 

הָאֵ֔לֶּה

and say

וְאָֽמְר֗וּ

 

רַ֚ק

of the nations

עַם

is a wise

חָכָ֣ם

and understanding

וְנָב֔וֹן

הַגּ֥וֹי

Surely this great

הַגָּד֖וֹל

 

הַזֶּֽה׃

is in all things that we call

לְלַמֵּ֣ד

that ye might do

וְנִדַּחְתָּ֛

וְהִשְׁתַּֽחֲוִ֥יתָ

לְבִלְתִּ֤י

that I should not go over

But if from thence thou shalt seek

When thou art in tribulation

וּדְבָרָ֥יו

and thou heardest

שָׁמַ֖עְתָּ

out of the midst

מִתּ֥וֹךְ

וְתַ֗חַת

 

כִּ֤י

And because he loved

אָהַב֙

 

אֶת

thy fathers

אֲבֹתֶ֔יךָ

therefore he chose

וַיִּבְחַ֥ר

their seed

בְּזַרְע֖וֹ

after

אַֽחֲרָ֑יו

them and brought thee out

וַיּוֹצִֽאֲךָ֧

in his sight

בְּפָנָ֛יו

power

בְּכֹח֥וֹ

with his mighty

הַגָּדֹ֖ל

out of Egypt

מִמִּצְרָֽיִם׃

To drive out

לְהוֹרִ֗ישׁ

nations

גּוֹיִ֛ם

thee greater

גְּדֹלִ֧ים

and mightier

וַֽעֲצֻמִ֛ים

 

מִמְּךָ֖

from before

מִפָּנֶ֑יךָ

than thou art to bring

לַהֲבִֽיאֲךָ֗

thee in to give

לָֽתֶת

 

לְךָ֧

 

אֶת

thee their land

אַרְצָ֛ם

for an inheritance

נַֽחֲלָ֖ה

as it is this day

כַּיּ֥וֹם

 

הַזֶּֽה׃

Know

וְיָֽדַעְתָּ֣

therefore this day

הַיּ֗וֹם

and consider

וַהֲשֵֽׁבֹתָ֮

 

אֶל

it in thine heart

לְבָבֶךָ֒

 

כִּ֤י

that the LORD

יְהוָה֙

 

ה֣וּא

he is God

הָֽאֱלֹהִ֔ים

in heaven

בַּשָּׁמַ֣יִם

above

מִמַּ֔עַל

 

וְעַל

and upon the earth

הָאָ֖רֶץ

 

מִתָּ֑חַת

 

אֵ֖ין

 

עֽוֹד׃

Thou shalt keep

וְשָֽׁמַרְתָּ֞

 

אֶת

therefore his statutes

חֻקָּ֣יו

 

וְאֶת

and his commandments

מִצְוֹתָ֗יו

 

אֲשֶׁ֨ר

 

אָֽנֹכִ֤י

which I command

מְצַוְּךָ֙

thee this day

הַיָּמִֽים׃

 

אֲשֶׁר֙

that it may go well

יִיטַ֣ב

 

לְךָ֔

with thee and with thy children

וּלְבָנֶ֖יךָ

after

אַֽחֲרֶ֑יךָ

 

וּלְמַ֨עַן

thee and that thou mayest prolong

תַּֽאֲרִ֤יךְ

thee this day

הַיָּמִֽים׃

upon the earth

הָ֣אֲדָמָ֔ה

of the Reubenites

לָרֻֽאוּבֵנִ֑י

 

וְאֶת

and Ramoth

רָאמֹ֤ת

in Gilead

בַּגִּלְעָד֙

of the Gadites

לַגָּדִ֔י

 

וְאֶת

and Golan

גּוֹלָ֥ן

in Bashan

בַּבָּשָׁ֖ן

of the Manassites

לַֽמְנַשִּֽׁי׃

 

וְזֹ֖את

And this is the law

הַתּוֹרָ֑ה

 

אֲשֶׁר
