the plague

of leprosy

צָרַ֔עַת

in a house

בְּבֵ֖ית

And he that owneth the house

בַּבָּֽיִת׃

and tell

וְהִגִּ֥יד

לַכֹּהֵ֖ן

לֵאמֹ֑ר

to me there is as it were a plague

כְּנֶ֕גַע

It seemeth

נִרְאָ֥ה

 

לִ֖י

And he that owneth the house

בַּבָּֽיִת׃

that he hath taken

חִלֵּ֣ץ

away the stones

הָֽאֲבָנִ֑ים

וְאַֽחֲרֵ֥י

he hath scraped

הִקְצ֥וֹת

 

אֶת

out in the house

הַבַּ֖יִת

after

וְאַֽחֲרֵ֥י

it is plaistered

הִטּֽוֹחַ׃

shall come

וּבָא֙

Then the priest

הַכֹּהֵ֔ן

and look

וְרָאָ֕ה

 

וְהִנֵּ֛ה

be spread

פָּשָׂ֥ה

and behold if the plague

הַנֶּ֖גַע

in the house

בַּבַּ֖יִת

leprosy

צָרַ֨עַת

it is a fretting

מַמְאֶ֥רֶת

 

הִ֛וא

in the house

בַּבַּ֖יִת

it is unclean

טָמֵ֥א

 

הֽוּא׃

And he shall break down

וְנָתַ֣ץ

 

אֶת

of the house

הַבָּ֑יִת

 

אֶת

the stones

אֲבָנָיו֙

 

וְאֶת

of it and the timber

עֵצָ֔יו

 

וְאֵ֖ת

 

כָּל

thereof and all the morter

עֲפַ֣ר

of the house

הַבָּ֑יִת

and he shall carry them forth

וְהוֹצִיא֙

 

אֶל

out

מִח֣וּץ

of the city

לָעִ֔יר

 

אֶל

place

מָק֖וֹם

into an unclean

טָמֵֽא׃

Moreover he that goeth

וְהַבָּא֙

 

אֶל

into the house

הַבַּ֔יִת

 

כָּל

all the while

יְמֵ֖י

that it is shut

הִסְגִּ֣יר

 

אֹת֑וֹ

up shall be unclean

יִטְמָ֖א

 

עַד

until the even

הָעָֽרֶב׃

And he that lieth

וְהַשֹּׁכֵ֣ב

in the house

בַּבַּ֔יִת

shall wash

יְכַבֵּ֖ס

 

אֶת

his clothes

בְּגָדָֽיו׃

and he that eateth

וְהָֽאֹכֵ֣ל

in the house

בַּבַּ֔יִת

shall wash

יְכַבֵּ֖ס

 

אֶת

his clothes

בְּגָדָֽיו׃

 

וְאִם

shall come in

יָבֹ֜א

shall come in

יָבֹ֜א

And if the priest

הַכֹּהֵן֙

and look

וְרָאָה֙

 

וְ֠הִנֵּה

 

לֹֽא

hath not spread

פָשָׂ֤ה

because the plague

הַנָּֽגַע׃

in the house

הַבַּ֔יִת

after

אַֽחֲרֵ֖י

was plaistered

הִטֹּ֣חַ

 

אֶת

in the house

הַבַּ֔יִת

clean

וְטִהַ֤ר

And if the priest

הַכֹּהֵן֙

 

אֶת

in the house

הַבַּ֔יִת

 

כִּ֥י

is healed

נִרְפָּ֖א

because the plague

הַנָּֽגַע׃

And he shall take

וְלָקַ֛ח

to cleanse

לְחַטֵּ֥א

 

אֶת

the house

הַבַּ֖יִת

שְׁתֵּ֣י

birds

צִפֳּרִ֑ים

wood

וְעֵ֣ץ

and cedar

אֶ֔רֶז

and scarlet

וּשְׁנִ֥י

 

תוֹלַ֖עַת

and hyssop

וְאֵזֹֽב׃

And he shall kill

וְשָׁחַ֖ט

 

אֶת

of the birds

הַצִּפֹּ֣ר

the one

הָֽאֶחָ֑ת

 

אֶל

vessel

כְּלִי

in an earthen

חֶ֖רֶשׂ

 

עַל

water

מַ֥יִם

over running

חַיִּֽים׃

And he shall take

וְלָקַ֣ח

 

אֶת

wood

עֵֽץ

the cedar

הָ֠אֶרֶז

 

וְאֶת

and the hyssop

הָ֨אֵזֹ֜ב

 

וְאֵ֣ת׀

and the scarlet

שְׁנִ֣י

 

הַתּוֹלַ֗עַת

 

וְאֵת֮

bird

הַצִּפֹּ֣ר

and in the running

הַֽחַיִּ֑ים

and dip

וְטָבַ֣ל

 

אֹתָ֗ם

them in the blood

בְּדַם֙

bird

הַצִּפֹּ֣ר

of the slain

הַשְּׁחוּטָ֔ה

water

וּבַמַּ֖יִם

and in the running

הַֽחַיִּ֑ים

and sprinkle

וְהִזָּ֥ה

 

אֶל

the house

הַבַּ֖יִת

שֶׁ֥בַע

times

פְּעָמִֽים׃

And he shall cleanse

וְחִטֵּ֣א

 

אֶת

the house

הַבַּ֔יִת

with the blood

בְּדַם֙

bird

וּבַצִּפֹּ֣ר

water

וּבַמַּ֖יִם

and with the living

הַֽחַיָּ֗ה

bird

וּבַצִּפֹּ֣ר

and with the living

הַֽחַיָּ֗ה

wood

וּבְעֵ֥ץ

and with the cedar

הָאֶ֛רֶז

and with the hyssop

וּבָֽאֵזֹ֖ב

and with the scarlet

וּבִשְׁנִ֥י

 

הַתּוֹלָֽעַת׃

But he shall let go

וְשִׁלַּ֞ח

 

אֶת

of the city

לָעִ֖יר

 

אֶל

into the open

פְּנֵ֣י

fields

הַשָּׂדֶ֑ה

and make an atonement

וְכִפֶּ֥ר

for the house

הַבַּ֖יִת

and it shall be clean

וְטָהֵֽר׃

 

זֹ֖את

This is the law

הַתּוֹרָ֑ה

 

לְכָל

for all manner of plague

נֶ֥גַע

of leprosy

הַצָּרַ֖עַת

and scall

וְלַנָּֽתֶק׃

And for the leprosy

וּלְצָרַ֥עַת

of a garment

הַבֶּ֖גֶד

and of a house

וְלַבָּֽיִת׃

And for a rising

וְלַשְׂאֵ֥ת

and for a scab

וְלַסַּפַּ֖חַת

and for a bright spot

וְלַבֶּהָֽרֶת׃

To teach

לְהוֹרֹ֕ת

and when

וּבְי֣וֹם

it is unclean

הַטָּמֵ֖א

and when

וּבְי֣וֹם

it is clean

הַטָּהֹ֑ר

 

זֹ֥את

this is the law

תּוֹרַ֖ת

of leprosy

הַצָּרָֽעַת׃
