וַיִּבְרְח֤וּ

Behold thy servants

עֲבָדֶ֖יךָ

לְשִׁמְעִי֙

of Maachah

מַעֲכָ֖ה

בְּגַֽת׃

And they told

וַיַּגִּ֤ידוּ

Shimei

לְשִׁמְעִי֙

saying

לֵאמֹ֔ר

 

הִנֵּ֥ה

Behold thy servants

עֲבָדֶ֖יךָ

בְּגַֽת׃

arose

וַיָּ֣קָם

And Shimei

שִׁמְעִ֔י

and saddled

וַֽיַּחֲבֹשׁ֙

וַיָּשֹֽׁב׃

for Shimei

לְשִׁמְעִ֗י

and said

וַתֹּ֧אמֶר

הֲל֧וֹא

unto him Did I not make thee to swear

הִשְׁבַּעְתִּ֣יךָ

by the LORD

בַֽיהוָ֗ה

and protested

וָֽאָעִ֤ד

 

בְּךָ֙

and said

וַתֹּ֧אמֶר

on the day

בְּי֣וֹם

thou goest out

צֵֽאתְךָ֗

and walkest

וְהָֽלַכְתָּ֙

וָאָ֔נָה

shall be blessed

בָּר֑וּךְ

and the throne

וְכִסֵּ֣א

of David

דָוִ֗ד

 

יִֽהְיֶ֥ה

shall be established

נָכ֛וֹן

before

לִפְנֵ֥י

the LORD

יְהוָ֖ה

for

עַד

ever

עוֹלָֽם׃

commanded

וַיְצַ֣ו

So the king

הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ

בְּנָיָ֙הוּ֙

the son

בֶּן

of Jehoiada

יְה֣וֹיָדָ֔ע

which went out

וַיֵּצֵ֕א

and fell

וַיִּפְגַּע

 

בּ֖וֹ

upon him that he died

וַיָּמֹ֑ת

And the kingdom

וְהַמַּמְלָכָ֥ה

was established

נָכ֖וֹנָה

in the hand

בְּיַד

of Solomon

שְׁלֹמֹֽה׃
