הַנַּ֖עַר

 

אֲשֶׁר

 

ל֑וֹ

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר

לֵ֖ךְ

הָבֵ֥יא

them to the city

הָעִֽיר׃

And as soon as the lad

הַנַּעַר֮

was gone

בָּא֒

David

דָּוִ֖ד

arose

קָ֚ם

out of a place toward

מֵאֵ֣צֶל

the south

הַנֶּ֔גֶב

and fell

וַיִּפֹּ֨ל

on his face

לְאַפָּ֥יו

to the ground

אַ֛רְצָה

and bowed

וַיִּשְׁתַּ֖חוּ

himself three

שָׁלֹ֣שׁ

times

פְּעָמִ֑ים

and they kissed

וַֽיִּשְּׁק֣וּ׀

one

אִ֣ישׁ

 

אֶת

another

רֵעֵ֔הוּ

and wept

וַיִּבְכּוּ֙

one

אִ֣ישׁ

 

אֶת

another

רֵעֵ֔הוּ

 

עַד

David

דָּוִ֖ד

exceeded

הִגְדִּֽיל׃

said

לֵאמֹ֔ר

And Jonathan

וִיהֽוֹנָתָ֖ן

to David

לְדָוִ֖ד

 

לֵ֣ךְ

in peace

לְשָׁל֑וֹם

 

אֲשֶׁר֩

forasmuch as we have sworn

נִשְׁבַּ֨עְנוּ

both

שְׁנֵ֜ינוּ

 

אֲנַ֗חְנוּ

of us in the name

בְּשֵׁ֤ם

said

לֵאמֹ֔ר

יִֽהְיֶ֣ה׀

 

בֵּינִ֣י

 

וּבֵינֶ֗ךָ

 

וּבֵ֥ין

and thy seed

זַרְעֲךָ֖

 

וּבֵ֥ין

and thy seed

זַרְעֲךָ֖

for

עַד

ever

עוֹלָֽם׃

And he arose

וַיָּ֖קָם

 

וַיֵּלַ֑ךְ

And Jonathan

וִיהֽוֹנָתָ֖ן

went

בָּ֥א

into the city

הָעִֽיר׃
