וַתִּתֵּ֤ן

גִּלּ֣וּ

her nakedness

עֶרְוָתָהּ֒

בָּנֶ֤יהָ

לָקָ֔חוּ

 

וְאוֹתָ֖הּ

her with the sword

בַּחֶ֣רֶב

and slew

הָרָ֑גוּ

and she became famous

Behold I will raise up

גַוֵּ֑ךְ

 

וְגַם

 

אַ֛תְּ

thou also thy lewdness

זִמָּתֵ֖ךְ

and thy whoredoms

תַּזְנוּתָֽיִךְ׃

נֹֽאֲפֹת֙

and after the manner

וּמִשְׁפַּ֖ט

of women that shed

שֹׁפְכ֣וֹת

and blood

וְדָ֖ם

 

כִּ֤י

because they are adulteresses

נֹֽאֲפֹת֙

 

הֵ֔נָּה

and blood

וְדָ֖ם

is in their hands

בִּֽידֵיהֶֽן׃

 

כִּ֛י

 

כֹּ֥ה

For thus saith

אָמַ֖ר

the Lord

אֲדֹנָ֣י

GOD

יְהוִ֑ה

I will bring up

הַעֲלֵ֤ה

 

עֲלֵיהֶם֙

a company

קָהָ֔ל

upon them and will give

וְנָתֹ֥ן

 

אֶתְהֶ֖ן

them to be removed

לְזַעֲוָ֥ה

and spoiled

וְלָבַֽז׃

shall stone

וְרָגְמ֨וּ

 

עֲלֵיהֶ֥ן

them with stones

אֶ֙בֶן֙

And the company

קָהָ֔ל

and dispatch

וּבָרֵ֥א

 

אוֹתְהֶ֖ן

them with their swords

בְּחַרְבוֹתָ֑ם

their sons

בְּנֵיהֶ֤ם

and their daughters

וּבְנֽוֹתֵיהֶם֙

they shall slay

יַהֲרֹ֔גוּ

their houses

וּבָתֵּיהֶ֖ן

with fire

בָּאֵ֥שׁ

and burn up

יִשְׂרֹֽפוּ׃

to cease

וְהִשְׁבַּתִּ֥י

Thus will I cause lewdness

כְּזִמַּתְכֶֽנָה׃

 

מִן

out of the land

הָאָ֑רֶץ

may be taught

וְנִֽוַּסְּרוּ֙

 

כָּל

that all women

הַנָּשִׁ֔ים

 

וְלֹ֥א

not to do

תַעֲשֶׂ֖ינָה

Thus will I cause lewdness

כְּזִמַּתְכֶֽנָה׃

And they shall recompense

וְנָתְנ֤וּ

your lewdness

זִמַּתְכֶ֙נָה֙

 

עֲלֵיכֶ֔ן

the sins

וַחֲטָאֵ֥י

of your idols

גִלּוּלֵיכֶ֖ן

upon you and ye shall bear

תִּשֶּׂ֑אינָה

and ye shall know

וִידַעְתֶּ֕ם

 

כִּ֥י

 

אֲנִ֖י

that I am the Lord

אֲדֹנָ֥י

GOD

יְהוִֽה׃
