unto Moses

מֹשֶׁ֥ה

saying

לֵּאמֹֽר׃

Get you up

הֵרֹ֗מּוּ

from among

מִתּוֹךְ֙

this congregation

הָֽעֵדָ֣ה

 

הַזֹּ֔את

that I may consume

וַֽאֲכַלֶּ֥ה

 

אֹתָ֖ם

them as in a moment

כְּרָ֑גַע

And they fell

וַֽיִּפְּל֖וּ

 

עַל

upon their faces

פְּנֵיהֶֽם׃

said

וַיֹּ֨אמֶר

And Moses

מֹשֶׁ֜ה

 

אֶֽל

unto Aaron

אַהֲרֹ֗ן

Take

קַ֣ח

 

אֶת

a censer

הַ֠מַּחְתָּה

and put

וְתֶן

 

עָלֶ֨יהָ

fire

אֵ֜שׁ

 

מֵעַ֤ל

the altar

הַמִּזְבֵּ֙חַ֙

and put

וְשִׂ֣ים

on incense

קְטֹ֔רֶת

 

וְהוֹלֵ֧ךְ

quickly

מְהֵרָ֛ה

 

אֶל

unto the congregation

הָֽעֵדָ֖ה

and make an atonement

וְכַפֵּ֣ר

 

עֲלֵיהֶ֑ם

 

כִּֽי

gone out

יָצָ֥א

for them for there is wrath

הַקֶּ֛צֶף

therein from off

מִלִּפְנֵ֥י

from the LORD

יְהוָ֖ה

is begun

הֵחֵ֥ל

the plague

הַנָּֽגֶף׃

took

וַיִּקַּ֨ח

And Aaron

אַֽהֲרֹ֜ן

 

כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֣ר׀

commanded

דִּבֶּ֣ר

as Moses

מֹשֶׁ֗ה

and ran

וַיָּ֙רָץ֙

 

אֶל

into the midst

תּ֣וֹך

of the congregation

הַקָּהָ֔ל

 

וְהִנֵּ֛ה

was begun

הֵחֵ֥ל

and behold the plague

הַנֶּ֖גֶף

among the people

הָעָֽם׃

and he put

וַיִּתֵּן֙

 

אֶֽת

on incense

הַקְּטֹ֔רֶת

and made an atonement

וַיְכַפֵּ֖ר

 

עַל

among the people

הָעָֽם׃

And he stood

וַיַּֽעֲמֹ֥ד

 

בֵּֽין

between the dead

הַמֵּתִ֖ים

 

וּבֵ֣ין

and the living

הַֽחַיִּ֑ים

was stayed

וַתֵּֽעָצַ֖ר

and the plague

הַמַּגֵּפָֽה׃

 

וַיִּֽהְי֗וּ

Now they that died

הַמֵּתִ֖ים

in the plague

בַּמַּגֵּפָ֔ה

were fourteen

אַרְבָּעָ֥ה

 

עָשָׂ֛ר

thousand

אֶ֖לֶף

and seven

וּשְׁבַ֣ע

hundred

מֵא֑וֹת

 

מִלְּבַ֥ד

Now they that died

הַמֵּתִ֖ים

 

עַל

about the matter

דְּבַר

of Korah

קֹֽרַח׃

returned

וַיָּ֤שָׁב

And Aaron

אַֽהֲרֹן֙

 

אֶל

unto Moses

מֹשֶׁ֔ה

 

אֶל

unto the door

פֶּ֖תַח

of the tabernacle

אֹ֣הֶל

of the congregation

מוֹעֵ֑ד

and the plague

וְהַמַּגֵּפָ֖ה

was stayed

נֶֽעֱצָֽרָה׃
